Third person point of view
Haruto checked for restaurants and found one he was familiar with. " There is a nice restaurant nearby. Let's go there ? " Junkyu agreed. Haruto smiled when he saw Junkyu holding onto the plushie. Both of them got in the car. Haruto drove to the restaurant and they went in. " Dinner is on me and you can't say no ". Junkyu said as soon as they sat down.
Haruto agreed without a problem. Junkyu smiled. Both of them ordered and had a nice dinner while chatting about their day. Junkyu paid for it just like he wished. They walked out and got back in the car. " I will drop you and now you have no right to say no ". Junkyu snickered. " Alright ". Haruto smiled.
Junkyu picked up the plushie again, holding it. Haruto drove towards Junkyu's house. They reached soon and Haruto also got out of the car. Junkyu walked to the other side. He smiled looking up at Haruto. " Thank you so much. I really enjoyed my day ". Haruto smiled back. " Thanks for coming with me ". Junkyu grinned.
They just stood in silence. Junkyu tilted his head. " I will... get going ". Haruto nodded. He leaned against the car and waited for Junkyu to go inside. Junkyu took a few steps but stopped. Haruto stood straight wondering is something was wrong. Junkyu turned back around and went to Haruto. " Did you forget something ? "
Junkyu bit his lip and shook his head. " Then ? " Haruto looked confused. Junkyu gestured for Haruto to come closer. Haruto lowered his head and turned his ear towards Junkyu. Junkyu closed the distance and kissed Haruto on the cheek. Haruto's eyes went wide. Junkyu quickly pulled away.
Haruto turned to Junkyu, still not out of shock. Junkyu blinked, looking cute and innocent with the plushie. He took a step back and turned to walk away feeling shy. Haruto held onto his arm and pulled him back. Junkyu let out a yelp. The plushie got squished between them. Haruto pulled it away, making Junkyu fall into his arms.
Junkyu stared at Haruto with trembling eyes. He didn't know if it was his or Haruto's heart that was racing. But maybe it was both of theirs. His mind was in a frenzy. Haruto's hot breath was mixing along with his. He locked eyes with Haruto. " Can you give me a chance ? I will make sure to do my best ". Junkyu's heart trembled.
Haruto's voice was making his heart race even faster. He gulped and nodded. " Okay ". Haruto smiled and Junkyu could see how genuine it was. Haruto put his hands around Junkyu and hugged him. Junkyu buried his face in Haruto's neck and hugged him back. Haruto tightened his hands making Junkyu let out a small gasp.
The butterflies in his stomach were too much. Haruto slowly pulled away. Junkyu looked up with a flushed face. Their eyes locked and Haruto lowered his eyes to look at his lips. Junkyu understood. Haruto held his chin and leaned down. Junkyu closed his eyes. Their lips met for a gentle kiss and Junkyu felt a shiver run down his spine. He also kissed back.
The cold breeze could not cool down the heat between them. Junkyu had goosebumps when the wind blew on his back. Haruto kissed him slowly and patiently. Junkyu already crumpled Haruto's shirt on his shoulders. His breathing was still a little heavy. Haruto opened his eyes and pulled away gently.
Junkyu also slowly opened his eyes. He let out a shaky breath. He looked up and met eyes with Haruto and saw him smiling. He felt too shy. He quickly took a step back and hurried inside. But he stopped again after a few steps. He ran back to Haruto and took the plushie. " Drive safe ". Haruto chuckled.
Junkyu walked away. " Good night ". Haruto said and Junkyu turned around walking backwards. " Good night to you too Haruto ". Junkyu saw Haruto's jaw drop and laughed. He ran inside successfully this time. Haruto rubbed his neck. He is definitely going to be on the suffering end. He got in the car and drove back home.
Junkyu sat down on the couch and his heart finally calmed down. He took a deep breath. Everything felt like a dream. He was also really happy. He picked up the plushie smiling at it and gave it a kiss. He giggled and went to the bedroom. He took a shower and sat down on the bed. He got under the quilt along with the plushie.
He put it beside him and smiled. He picked up his phone and took a photo. He changed his profile picture. He smiled and looked at the picture. Haruto picked up his phone to look at the photos they took. He smiled and sent them to Junkyu. He noticed Junkyu's profile picture and grinned.
Haruto : Can you send that picture too ? The one in your profile
Junkyu : Sure.
Junkyu sent the ones he took before and that too. Haruto saw it and smiled. He couldn't help zooming in on Junkyu's face. He had his eyes closed and was smiling just like the koala. He chuckled wanting to pinch his cheeks. He immediately called Junkyu. " Hello " " Did I disturb ? " " No. I was just lying down. Did you reach ? "
" Yeah. I just parked the car ". " Okay. So what is it ? " " I just wanted to hear your voice ". Junkyu blushed. " Such a flirt ". Haruto chuckled. " I mean it ". " I will believe you for now ". Haruto smiled. " Do you have any plans for tomorrow ? " " Nothing ". " Then want to come over ? " Junkyu buried his face in the pillow.
Haruto continued to entice him. " I will make some nice food for you ". Junkyu gave a hum. Haruto raised an eyebrow. " You don't want to ? " " Not like that ". " Hmm. I might come off as too eager but I really don't want to spend our first day separately in our own houses ". Junkyu really felt like his face would catch fire.
" Fine ". Haruto grinned. " I will look forward to it then ". Junkyu huffed. " You are so shameless. I am hanging up. I am sleepy ". Junkyu scolded and quickly hung up. He put the phone upside down. Haruto burst out laughing. Junkyu was too cute. Junkyu's phone vibrated and he saw Haruto sent him a message.
Haruto : Sleep well <3
Junkyu : You too ;)
Haruto smiled at the reply and got out of the car to go up to his apartment while smiling happily and twirling the keys in his hand. Junkyu also put the phone away. He really did want to sleep now. He also had to go tomorrow so he better sleep on time. He held the plushie and fell asleep.
