Chapter 17 - Chapter Fifteen: The Summoning of Stronger

The air in the command center felt heavy with silence. Yuriko sat cross-legged on the floor, the Ladybug Gun resting across her lap, its crimson shell gleaming faintly in the light. The Rangers stood around her, watching with a mix of curiosity and unease. The mysterious box filled with Kamen Rider keychains still pulsed softly on the nearby table, as if alive with hidden energy.

Ever since they had retrieved it, Yuriko couldn't shake the feeling that the box was more than a mere container. It was connected to her, to the Riders, and to something even larger than she could comprehend.

Her eyes drifted to one particular keychain—Kamen Rider Stronger. She held it gently, as though it were a fragile treasure. A thousand memories tugged at the edges of her mind, faint glimpses of battles long past, faces of heroes she once fought beside.

"Yuriko?" Jake asked cautiously, breaking the silence. "You've been staring at that keychain for ten minutes. What are you thinking?"

Yuriko lifted her gaze, her expression conflicted. "This one… this isn't just a keychain. I know him. I've fought alongside him before. Kamen Rider Stronger."

The Rangers exchanged uncertain glances. They had come to accept the existence of Riders thanks to Yuriko's growing collection of keychains, but this felt different. There was a weight in her voice—personal, emotional.

Then, her eyes flickered toward the Ladybug Gun. She noticed something she hadn't before. Just beneath the main trigger mechanism, a hidden slot glimmered faintly, like it had been waiting for her to notice.

Her breath caught. "Could it be…?"

She raised the gun, her hands trembling slightly. The Rangers instinctively stepped closer.

"Yuriko, wait," Emma said. "We don't know what that'll do. It could be dangerous."

Yuriko gave a small smile. "Dangerous or not, I think this is why these keychains came to me. To unlock something more."

Without hesitation, she slid the Stronger keychain into the slot. The moment it clicked into place, the gun began to vibrate with energy. Lights flared along its sides, and the air itself seemed to buzz with electricity.

"Everyone, stand back!" Troy shouted, pulling the others with him.

Yuriko tightened her grip and pulled the trigger.

A deafening CRACK of thunder echoed through the command center. Bolts of electricity erupted outward, striking the walls but leaving no damage, as though the power itself knew where it belonged. A column of searing light burst upward, forcing everyone to shield their eyes.

When the light finally dimmed, a figure stood in the center of the room.

Clad in black armor trimmed with red, his chest adorned with a gleaming bolt, and sparks crackling from his body—Kamen Rider Stronger had appeared. His presence radiated both raw power and an undeniable sense of familiarity.

The Rangers froze, speechless.

Stronger scanned the room, his helmeted gaze finally locking onto Yuriko. Slowly, he stepped forward, each movement deliberate and filled with purpose.

Then, to everyone's shock, he spoke.

"It's been a long time, Yuriko."

Yuriko's eyes widened. Her breath caught in her throat. "Stronger… you… you remember me?"

His helmet tilted slightly as he gave a firm nod. "Of course. How could I forget the one who stood beside me in the fight against evil? You haven't changed… though it seems fate has given you new allies."

The Rangers stared at Yuriko in disbelief.

"Wait, wait, wait," Noah stammered, pointing at the armored man. "You're telling us this guy—this Rider—knows you personally? Like, from before all of this?"

Yuriko swallowed hard, her heart pounding. "Yes. Long ago… in another battle, in another time. We fought side by side."

Gia's eyes narrowed, curious. "And you didn't think to mention this before?"

"I wasn't sure until now," Yuriko admitted softly. "I thought maybe my memories were fading, or maybe I only dreamed of those days. But seeing him here… it's real."

Stronger looked around at the group, his voice firm and commanding. "You Rangers fight bravely, but the enemy you face now—the Armada—cannot be defeated with courage alone. That is why the Riders' power has been entrusted to Yuriko once again."

The Rangers listened intently, the weight of his words pressing down on them.

"Are you saying," Troy asked carefully, "that these keychains… aren't just weapons, but a connection to the Riders themselves?"

Stronger's armor sparked as he crossed his arms. "Exactly. Each keychain carries not only power, but the spirit and will of the Rider it represents. Through the Ladybug Gun, Yuriko can unlock more than just forms—she can summon us, call upon our strength when the world demands it."

The room fell silent at the enormity of this revelation.

Yuriko, still stunned, stepped closer. Her voice trembled slightly. "Stronger… why now? Why appear after all this time?"

Stronger looked at her for a long moment. "Because darkness is rising greater than ever before. The Armada is not working alone. Shadows from the past are moving… Riders, enemies, forces you cannot yet imagine. You were chosen once again, Yuriko—not by chance, but by destiny."

A shiver ran through the Rangers. They had faced countless battles before, but this felt different. It felt bigger.

Finally, Stronger placed a hand on Yuriko's shoulder, his sparks dancing harmlessly against her armor. "Do not falter. You carry not just your own strength, but the legacy of all Riders. And as long as I still draw breath in this world, I will fight beside you."

Yuriko's eyes burned with unshed tears. She bowed her head slightly, overwhelmed by the moment. "Thank you, Stronger. I… I'll fight with everything I have."

The Rangers looked at one another. For the first time, they truly understood—Yuriko wasn't just an ally. She was a bridge between their world and the legendary Riders, and together, their battles were only just beginning.

And somewhere, far away in the depths of space, the Armada's leaders watched the surge of energy that had summoned Stronger. Their expressions darkened.

"The Riders are awakening," one of them hissed. "This changes everything."
