Chapter 64 - Chapter 64 - Three months

Three months had passed, where various things happened.

Bardock and his team, freed by Fu and marked by Buu, had found a new 'home'.

Their days were marked by a ferocious rhythm:

Duels against Buu: often ending with huge craters and Panchy shouting from the balcony, "Don't destroy the lawn!"

Forced meditation sessions imposed by Mai, whom Bardock hated more than fighting

Technology lessons from Bulma that fascinated Fasha and drove Tora mad.

The result?

The Bardock team had become a close-knit unit. A twisted, yet solid family.

One afternoon, during a training session in the Diablo Desert, the ground gave way under Buu's fist, revealing an object that shone like a small sun.

A Dragon Ball.

Four stars.

Buu held it up, looking at it like a distant memory.

Then the news.

Panchy, shining like a star, announced with grace and a radiant smile:

"We're expecting a baby!"

Bulma gasped.

Mai dropped a cup.

Buu missed a practice move and blew up half the courtyard.

Fasha laughed for ten minutes straight.

Pregnancy made Buu more protective, Panchy more affectionate, and the Briefs House more chaotic than ever.

Not even two weeks had passed when the sky above Capsule Corp was torn apart by beams of red and blue light.

The Time Patrollers had arrived.

Dozens of them.

Some teams attempted to seal Buu away;

Others tried to return Bardock and his men to the correct timestream;

Still others wanted to capture Mai and Bulma, dubbed "unclassified anomalies."

The answer?

Buu defeated them one after the other without killing anyone. Bardock, Borgos and Tora had fun like children.

After yet another failure, the Patrollers retreated...

In the present.

La notizia esplose nel mondo come un tuono:

Il Torneo Mondiale di Arti Marziali era stato anticipato.Un'edizione speciale.

Il motivo?Nessuno lo sapeva.

'Strange,' Buu muttered. 'The Red Ribbon Army hasn't come looking for the dragon ball... is it connected?'

Too much silence.

Too calm from an organization that, in any timeline, wouldn't give up a Dragon Ball.

Mai looked at Buu and asked, "Shall we go?"

Panchy waves at them from the balcony with her hand on her belly and a smile bigger than the sky.
