Cole refused to admit he had been peeking at Yoruichi.
Rukia puffed her cheeks in anger and chased after him, trying to block the gaps between his fingers.
But Cole wouldn't agree, and so the two of them ran around the hot spring, their playful noises echoing.
Meanwhile, Yoruichi, wrapped in a bathrobe, smiled slyly at Cole.
"Kid, you're still a virgin, right?"
"Cough, cough, cough…"
Cole nearly choked.
Yoruichi's figure was beyond his imagination, but her boldness was even more so.
"Yoruichi-sama!"
Rukia's face reddened as she looked at her.
Back in Soul Society, the descriptions she had heard of Yoruichi were always noble, beautiful, and elegant…
But seeing her in person now, she felt more like a mischievous older sister.
Yoruichi chuckled, slipping her long, slender legs into the spring, sighing in satisfaction.
"It's been so long since I soaked in a hot spring in human form. This feels amazing…"
Cole's face flushed deeper.
Through the drifting steam, Yoruichi's alluring form was almost visible.
"Cole!!!"
Rukia lunged at him again.
Just then, Yoruichi leaned against the edge of the spring, smiling.
"Cole, Rukia, why don't you come soak with me? This hot spring heals fatigue and injuries."
"It has that effect?"
Cole's eyes lit up, running toward her. "Perfect timing, my back's been aching."
"No way!"
Rukia clung tightly to him.
In the end, under her flushed and firm refusal, Cole missed his chance at a mixed bath.
Facing Cole's resentful stare, Rukia turned away guiltily, muttering softly:
"You already have Inoue, don't you? You can't bathe with Yoruichi-sama. I'm protecting Inoue."
"Using Inoue as a shield doesn't work!"
Cole cracked his knuckles menacingly. "If you want to apologize, at least bathe with me instead!"
"No way…"
Rukia blushed scarlet and bolted, Cole chasing close behind.
Watching them, Yoruichi sighed.
"So young…"
She rose from the spring, toweling the water from her body.
Elsewhere, Soi Fong stirred where she had been laid against a stone. Slowly regaining consciousness, she blinked at her surroundings.
"Where… am I?"
Memories of her defeat surged back, and her eyes grew ice-cold.
"Cole, was it!?"
In all her centuries of life, she had never suffered such humiliation.
And by Yoruichi's man, no less.
Clenching her jaw, she tried to stand—only to realize something was wrong.
"Kido!?"
She glared at the bindings covering her body.
Red, blue, purple—hundreds of kido spells restraining her at once.
"Boom!!"
Her spiritual pressure erupted violently.
Cole froze mid-chase, surprised to see her awake so soon.
"You recovered already?"
He had expected her to be unconscious at least a day after that strike to the head.
"Cole!!!"
Soi Fong's furious voice shook the air, her reiryoku surging into a blazing blue pillar.
"I'll kill you, bastard!"
Cole flinched theatrically, sprinting for the spring's edge.
"Yoruichi, save me! She's going to kill me!"
At his words, Soi Fong stiffened. She swallowed nervously, eyes full of tension and hope as she turned toward the hot spring.
When she saw the bronzed beauty wiping water from her skin, her anger vanished instantly.
Her cheeks flushed red, her heart pounding wildly.
"Yoruichi-sama…"
"Wait a second."
Yoruichi sighed, glancing at Cole hiding behind her.
"I'm not even dressed yet."
Cole swallowed hard, pushing her forward. "It's fine, Miss Yoruichi, you have to protect me!"
Rukia ran over, puffing her cheeks, grabbing Cole to drag him back.
"Stop clinging to Yoruichi-sama like that!"
But then she caught Soi Fong's furious gaze and froze, quickly ducking behind Yoruichi as well.
"You two… I said I'm not dressed yet."
Yoruichi's face darkened as she raised her fist.
"Pow! Pow!"
Both Cole and Rukia got a punch each.
Only then did Yoruichi, satisfied, begin dressing, glancing toward Soi Fong.
"Yo, Soi Fong. Long time no see."
Soi Fong's face flushed, but she tried to mask it with cold fury.
"Yoruichi! You traitor. How dare you and Kisuke rescue those captains who researched forbidden powers…"
Her glare shifted past Yoruichi to Cole, her eyes burning with hatred.
"You let this man seduce you, didn't you? Abandoning the Shihouin name, betraying your duties as captain of the Second Division…"
"Soi Fong, what nonsense are you spouting?"
Yoruichi cut her off, glaring at Cole.
"I don't know what he told you, but it's all lies. This brat just made things up."
She raised her fist again, and Cole immediately surrendered, hands up.
Yoruichi huffed, swinging half-heartedly to scare him.
Watching the two banter, Soi Fong nearly exploded with rage.
"That brat's shunpo is so strong—if not taught by you, was it Kisuke!?"
Yoruichi blinked. "Soi Fong, are you mistaken? He only just learned shunpo."
"Lies! You're still lying to me!!"
Soi Fong's voice trembled as if betrayed in love, eyes blazing.
"Do you still see me as that little girl I used to be? That brat's shunpo is far too strong to learn overnight!"
Seeing her so agitated, Yoruichi looked baffled, turning to Cole.
"Your shunpo is really that strong?"
She had just watched him learn it. He was fast, yes, but nowhere near captain level.
Cole coughed awkwardly.
"I might've practiced a bit more on my own… maybe she misunderstood."
Soi Fong's teeth ground together.
"Adulterers! Don't think you can fool me!"
