Late at night, the villa is quiet.
Sode no Shirayuki is lying on Cole's bed, kicking her feet and listening with great interest to the sounds coming from the bedroom opposite. Through the link between Shinigami and zanpakuto, she can feel everything her master Rukia is experiencing, which makes her own body react and leaves her flustered and embarrassed. She complains that Cole is being too "rough" and that Rukia's reactions are being transmitted to her as well, making it hard to bear.
In another room, Unohana sits up, her face slightly flushed, annoyed that the "noise" is so loud she can't sleep. She grumbles that the two of them should at least use kido to soundproof the room. Annoyed, she uses a binding kido on the wall to block the sounds, and the whole villa falls suddenly quiet again.
Elsewhere, Tatsuki, who is sharing a room with Orihime, wakes up to what she thinks she just heard.
She clamps a hand over her mouth in shock—those kinds of sounds clearly come from a man and a woman being intimate. She knows the only guy in the villa is Cole, and he isn't in Orihime's room, so she starts to suspect what might be going on.
Orihime, however, is still sleeping soundly and hasn't noticed a thing.
Tatsuki, face burning, quietly gets out of bed and tiptoes out into the corridor. Thanks to Unohana's kido, the hallway is now completely silent, which confuses her—she's sure she heard something a moment ago. She wonders if "they" have already finished.
Curious and nervous, she creeps over to Cole's bedroom and gently cracks the door open.
Inside, she sees Sode no Shirayuki alone on the bed, clearly flustered and trying to deal with her own reactions. Tatsuki's face turns bright red; she didn't expect the cool, beautiful "ice queen" zanpakuto spirit to show such human-like embarrassment. Feeling like she's intruding on something private, Tatsuki quickly pulls back and runs away, convincing herself she must have misheard things—after all, Cole isn't in there.
But then she freezes mid-step as a crucial question hits her:
This is Cole's bedroom, yet only Sode no Shirayuki is inside.
So where is Cole?
She swallows nervously and looks at the other two bedroom doors: one belongs to the gentle "big sister" Unohana, and the other to the female Shinigami named Rukia.
After thinking it over, Tatsuki decides the one most likely to "seduce" Cole is the mature older sister type, Unohana.
She sneaks up to Unohana's room and cracks the door open—only to see a scene that makes her blush even harder. She hurriedly shuts the door, mind spinning.
"Even that big sister is doing that kind of thing… Are female Shinigami just really… intense?"
Finally, only one door is left: Rukia's.
Tatsuki, legs already weak, opens the last door a tiny bit and peeks through the gap—
And this time, she sees it clearly: Cole and Rukia in a very intimate embrace, Rukia clinging to him, face flushed, clearly overwhelmed. The sight is far too much for Tatsuki; her entire body goes weak and she collapses to the floor, heart pounding wildly.
She mutters to herself, equal parts angry and flustered, that Cole is "too much"—he already has Orihime, yet he's still getting tangled up with so many other girls. But even as she complains, the sounds from inside the room make her own body react, leaving her ashamed and confused by her own response.
Time passes.
Just when Tatsuki thinks things are finally over and tries to get up and sneak away, a teasing voice suddenly speaks right next to her ear:
"So you were hiding out here listening in."
Tatsuki jumps in fright, and turns to see who caught her.
It's Sode no Shirayuki, her face slightly flushed but wearing a playful smile as she leans against the wall and looks down at Tatsuki. She remarks that she had noticed her bedroom door being left slightly open and figured someone had been peeking—turns out it was Tatsuki.
"What did you see?" she asks.
Tatsuki frantically waves her hands, shaking her head and insisting she didn't see anything, that she just couldn't sleep and went out for a walk.
Shirayuki looks her up and down with an amused expression and points out that "taking a walk" shouldn't involve leaving such obvious traces of water on the floor. She guesses that Tatsuki was secretly watching what was happening inside and got a little too caught up in it. Tatsuki is so embarrassed she wants to dig a hole and bury herself.
Shirayuki laughs softly, steps past her, and walks into the room. She tells Tatsuki that her master is just a small "dead fish" and that if Tatsuki really wants to watch, it would be better to watch her instead.
Inside, Rukia has completely fainted from exhaustion. Shirayuki gently hugs her master, complains to Cole that he was too rough and made Rukia pass out, then cheerfully offers to "take over" and keep him company herself, hinting that in their shared inner world she has been longing for him every day. Cole hugs her back with a smile.
From the doorway, Tatsuki can only watch, dazed, as the situation inside escalates yet again, far beyond what she imagined. Her mind goes blank; she can barely even stand.
After about an hour, when Tatsuki is utterly drained just from watching, a healing kido suddenly envelops her.
She turns and sees Unohana approaching, barefoot, cheeks slightly flushed. Unohana complains that "one person and one zanpakuto" are being far too much, clearly aware of everything happening in the room. She affectionately rubs Tatsuki's head and points out that Tatsuki is no angel either—Unohana had already used kido to block the sound, yet Tatsuki insisted on opening her door to eavesdrop.
Tatsuki can't even figure out how to apologize, her face scarlet.
But Unohana doesn't stop; instead, she walks straight into Cole's room, saying that she intends to "settle the score" with him for all of this. Tatsuki swallows hard and, covering her mouth, shyly watches the scene inside as yet another person joins in.
"She… they're all doing that kind of thing..."
The night passes in a blurry haze of embarrassment and half-understood adult chaos from Tatsuki's point of view.
The next morning, Cole wakes up, yawning and rubbing his eyes. He looks at the three pale-skinned women lying beside him and can't help a wry smile as he remembers the previous night.
"That was… a bit too crazy, huh?"
First Rukia, then Sode no Shirayuki, and finally even Unohana had joined in. Fortunately, Rukia had fainted early on; otherwise he doesn't know how far things might have gone.
He gets up, puts on his clothes, and goes to wash up.
As soon as he leaves the room, the three women on the bed all open their eyes.
Rukia glares fiercely at Sode no Shirayuki and Unohana.
Shirayuki just smiles sweetly and says that since she and Rukia are one being, Rukia's man is also her man. Rukia grits her teeth but can't really argue—Shinigami and zanpakuto are, fundamentally, one entity.
So she turns her anger on Unohana instead, demanding to know why the Captain of the 4th Division came over and joined in.
Unohana, massaging the bruises on her body, simply smiles and replies that Rukia enjoyed it too, so what's the point of worrying about details? She adds that Rukia doesn't need to worry about her "stealing" Cole; she only likes fighting and "clashing" with him in her own way.
She gets out of bed and walks back to her own room to wash up.
Rukia punches at the empty air in frustration, thinking that this doesn't look anything like ordinary "sparring." She mutters that Unohana clearly once said Cole was the only man who could make her feel truly excited—and vows that she absolutely has to defeat Unohana someday
