After the engraving of the caged bird seal. The kids were sent back to their apartments to pack their things.
'Hmm I thought it was going to be painful, but it just felt that I was blinded for a moment.
And it didn't even take long, after the engraving, we were just told that we were going to get our own houses from now on.
Though that is expected since those apartments are meant to be used by those who are undergoing clan training.
But this is good I should get more independence, with it I can start training the Rasengan.
Though I probably won't have the chakra reserves for it.
But it will be good practice for chakra control.
Along with it, I should master the three academy techniques. Along with training those three techniques I should master more advanced earth style jutsus.
I have mastered the body flicker jutsu to a sufficient degree, I will pause its training until I have mastered those three techniques.
After that I won't have to worry about practicing those techniques.
With the start of the ninja academy, I will have an enormous amount of time to train nature affinity since most of the time I will be sitting in class learning theory.
Though I have earth release, and it does have a couple of good applications. I can't use those applications of earth release properly, until I have an enormous amount of chakra.
So I should also start training another affinity in the academy.
But that will have to wait until I have mastered a couple of practical, D rank earth style jutsus.'
After making his plans Yujiro finished moving to his house, though small it does have everything needed.
Along with the move, his allowance was increased, this was due to the fact that he will need to buy his own food from now on. With the only exception being that the ninja academy will start giving out food bars like in the Hyuga training.
Around a week later the ninja academy test started, for Yujiro this felt like a breeze, after all, it was practically the same as the test they did to qualify for clan training.
The only difference was that this time they had to observe and dodge obstacles.
But as Yujiro had the Byakugan, he could easily avoid the obstacles.
In the physical exercise over 2300 kids had applied but only around 670 people qualified overall.
For Yujiro's group it seemed like all the clan kids were put in this one group.
As they ran out of the approximate 400 clan kids, all of them successfully ran the first 400m x 5 laps.
And only 28 failed to run the second 400m x 5 laps.
From there on, the qualifying kids dropped sharply as only 130 kids successfully ran the third 5 laps.
But after that only 37 successfully ran, the fourth 5 laps, and only 5 kids successfully ran the final 5 laps.
As Yujiro finished the final laps, he looked at the 4 other kids with him.
'Hmm two of them have far more chakra compared to me, around 1.3 times my own.
Another one seems to be an ordinary Uchiha prodigy.
But the last one, Uchiha Itachi. Even though I could do this without much stamina expenditure Itachi seems like he didn't even break a sweat, and he even has more chakra than me. Though not by much, with this training seal I should catch up to him in less than a month, this is of course assuming that his chakra reserves don't increase.'
After the physical test was done, a familiar question was asked, if anybody has awakened chakra they are to raise their hands.
As a result all of the clan kids raised their hands, and a couple of people from the civilians raised their hands.
The kids were separated into different groups, three groups had around 40 kids while the other groups had around 80 kids.
From this Yujiro could see that the kids were separated. Who were talented, and those who held little potential.
Yujiro himself was in a group of 37 kids alongside Uchiha Itachi.
After the group separation was done the kids were handed a paper that showed which class room to show up tomorrow.
Though Yujiro had expected it, the academy was as boring as he had thought, even though Itachi didn't show the same boredom as Yujiro.
Yujiro could see Itachi wasn't paying attention to the class.
After a week of the tiresome theory, something useful actually happened.
The teachers started the practical teaching sessions, even though most didn't directly increase strength like stealth and counter surveillance. But they made Yujiro realize that the stealth training he had done was extremely crude.
But the portion of training that interested Yujiro more was the shuriken throwing, Kunai throwing and the taijutsu practice with other kids.
During this week of theoretical classes, Yujiro realized that this world was far different than the one in Naruto, for one the clans Konoha were far more numerous than in the anime. And some clans that were said to be destroyed or having difficulties, are actually around.
The one that shocked him the most was that the Senju clan is still around, even though it was specifically said in the series that Tsunade was the last living Senju.
This gave Yujiro quite the scare as this might make his future knowledge useless.
But after researching things through he realized that the world had almost identical history in comparison to the anime, there were only small differences, but the overall situation is the same.
After realizing this, he knew that he could not blindly believe that his information was correct.
This ultimately put more pressure on himself and made him train even harder and more dedicatedly.
