Chapter 46 - Generously

Even though Hiramasu was confused due to the disappearance of Kaguya Teri's body.

He wasn't concerned, he simply stored the matter to the back of his head.

While they started their journey back to Konoha, they had to inform the Kizami family that many people of the Kiri ninjas had been killed and that it was unlikely that they were going to show up again.

Back when they were directly travelling to Konoha.

Hyori, curious about some things, asked her teacher for the answers.

"Sensei, since we came into combat with enemy Elite Jonin, can this be considered a S rank mission?

And since many Jonin have bounties, do we get bounty from those guys?"

When Hiramasu heard his troublesome students' questions he became exacerbated.

"You think this is worthy of an S rank mission?"

After asking the question he waited for a little while before answering the question himself.

"Maybe if this mission was extremely urgent it would be an S rank mission, but if it was, you brats would have never been included in such a mission.

And the other method this was going to be a S rank mission was if instead of having to fight off those 9 Kiri ninjas with 16 people we had to fight 9 Kiri ninjas, with 5 people or less and the minimum requirement would be to kill them, without letting anyone escape.

Those would be the only methods this mission would be an S rank mission.

But though the difficulty is much higher, so is the pay.

For example, this mission, despite being an A rank mission, would be worth about 3 million ryo, however that is only a small portion of the pay in these kinds of missions.

The larger pay comes from the bounties.

In this mission for example, the bounties on those ninja heads comes up to 53 million ryo.

And that is usually why such deadly missions are taken, after all, if you had to fight a Jonin for a measly 3 million ryo.

No one would take it."

When his three students heard this, they were actually shocked.

While Mujin and Hyori were surprised by the difficulties in S rank missions in comparison to A rank missions.

Yujiro was shocked for a different reason.

'Holy crap, 53 million ryo. If I can do such missions in the future wouldn't I just be swimming in wealth.

At that point wouldn't the average person just stop taking missions.'

After thinking about it in more detail, he realized that he had made a hasty judgement.

'Then again, no average person would get that strong, after all, to be able to kill them smoothly solo.

You would have to be an S rank ninja.

And at that point, money really isn't useful unless you would have to support large organizations or clans.

And even for me money has mostly lost its meaning already, even though I'm still just a genin.

Though earning that much money can probably support a normal family for a lifetime, for me that kind of money is completely useless currently.

After all, I can't sacrifice money to become stronger or something.'

After all three digested the information Hyori still asked the same question.

"So what about the bounty on those people, do we get any?."

When Hiramasu heard that this time he chuckled.

"Are you saying that you deserve a part of those bounties?"

Hiramasu asked jokingly.

"Of course, since we took down 1/9 of the enemies we should get 1/9 of the total bounty amount.

And doing math of that 53 million ryo 5.88 million ryo belongs to us.

For your convenience, i will generously round that number up to 6 million ryo.

So now you can give each of us 2 million ryo.

And you know what for this generosity of mine, you can just ignore the mission rewards, the bounty is enough for me."

What Hiramasu didn't expect was that his students would give him a positive answer with such seriousness.

And this answer left him speechless with his mouth open.

'Hehehe, sensei has been gaping like a fish for over a minute now, that's seriously impressive Hyori, I didn't think you could do it, now you have proven me wrong.'

Along with his thoughts he also looked at Hyori strangely.

'But I didn't think she would have this kind of personality.

A money grubber, but with this kind of high stress job, it's reasonable that some weird personality quirks appear.

But hehe, let's see if you succeed with this endeavor, if you do I will generously help you with your antics in the future.'

When Hiramasu, still unaware of his other students' generosity, finally coughed, he realized that he hadn't breathed for a minute.

*Cough, cough

'This brat did he seriously think that I was taking him seriously.

But now even those other two brats are looking eagerly at me.

Mujin is now actually expecting that kind of money, while that damn Yujiro is just plainly playing along to Hyori's nonsense.'

While Hiramasu was still thinking, the time outside had not stopped for him.

Hyori suddenly had another generous idea.

'Hehe, sensei is probably so happy that I brought this up, that's why he's been so silent, if that's the case I should "generously" help him.'

Before Hiramasu could answer Hyori's unreasonable request, she had already generously helped him to make a decision.

"I see sensei, you two are so happy that I asked you such an amazing question, you don't need to say anything, the three of us can generously take the money, you don't need to say anything to stop it, we can handle such a responsibility."

When Yujiro heard Hyori speak again, his mouth could not help but curl up to a laughing smile.

Unlike Yujiro's amusement, Hiramasu was now actually in an extremely awkward position.

'You brat, how am I happy? Is this how you repay my training?'

After a moment of depression Hiramasu gave up.

'Forget it, it's just 6 million, I will just pay it out of my pocket.

But Hyori, you better believe that this debt will be solely be paid by you'

After Hyori saw Hiramasu finally give up she felt like she would directly ascend to heaven, but only moment after did she feel an extremely ominous feeling that made her feel that she had been cast down to hell.
