As we watched, their figures are slowly fading from our sight.
They run so fast as if their lives are dependent in it....well it does actually if you slowed down just a little a zombie's teeth might sank into your skin.
Then finally, their figures disappeared from our sight.
The murmurs finally came back. People were talking about how they teleported outside the apartment.
Then the landlord spoke facing the crowd of people.
"I evicted them. If you don't want to suffer the same fate you got to contribute"
The landlord warned.
No one dared to spoke some are even trembled thinking they will suffer the same fate if they don't do anything.
The landlord once again clicked something in the air and a blue panel popped up from everyone's front.

Then she spoke, "as you know crystals can be found inside the zombies head, but you see my powers here needs it. I can generate food, protection in the apartment, and electricity."
Then she added now her voice a little gentle.
"I can't send you to the battlefield weaponless so give me your desired weapon I can create it but you have to pay me 1 more crystal by the end of this day."
She gestured to us to fall in line, and we did as instructed and moved.
Im at the very end of the line, Infront of me is a little girl she had black hair, blue eyes.
By the looks of it she was just 8 years old at most.
She turned her head and looked at me for a while before turning her head again.
I don't know why but when we locked eyes I can feel a suppressing aura.
I didn't even realized it, the line was already halve.
I looked at the other people. Some got firearms in their hand and some strangely wanted bows?
Well I can't blame them cuz firearms can attract zombies.
Finally it's me and the little girls turn, she spoke with an almost cold voice, "i would want a dagger please"
I didn't understand why this little girl want to pick something like that. I didn't asked anything. But the again It's her decision anyways.
It's now my turn the landlord asked me, "what do you want" I think for a second.
I erased the Melee weapon because I'll die right away. I also erased the firearms.
Although it is strong I don't want to get a whole horde of monsters swarming at me.

Before I can even spoke she chimed in.
"Hey yuki since you're my first tenant that lasted for years in my apartment I've come to make a special deal for you"
This warmed my heart up, but also makes me relieved. Because if I have money I'll leave this place right away.
I just said with my voice slightly trembled from excitement, "I'm all ears"
She immediately got into business.
"So you need to pay me 4 crystals by the end of this day. In exchange I have this....."
She showed a wooden wand?! It's kind of normal stick with the head being round and got spiral.
It was emanating blue aura along with the core shining with dark blue.
She explained the items description.
"This item is very precious. It's ranked rare. I don't know how to activate this weapon but if you did manage to activate it, You can harness a magic water balls capable of damaging the zombies."
She continued, "are you up to i-"
I didn't even let her finished her sentence, my head is already fuming with excited!

I was chasing for more breaths.
I was running in the middle of the forest outside of the apartment.
The horde of zombies are rushing at our group.
The group is consist of me, the skinny black haired man with glasses and a bow in his hands, the little girl with a dagger, and a girl who's holding a sword.
With my voice terrified I said, "h-how did it turned to this"

While the people were discussing to team up to kill the zombies.
I, in the corner is still inspecting the wand. got interrupted by two people.
They were wearing a matching outfit the skinny boy with glasses is wearing a checkered shirt and pants, and the girl is wearing the same too even the brand of their glasses is the same.
Aside from the face and body structure they are basically the same, white skinned, black hair, and unusual red eyes.
But, Their weapon isn't the same the girl is holding a sword while the man is holding a bow.
I was nervous, having getting approached randomly like this. who would get nervous!
I said with my voice shaky, "uh-uhm what can I do for you" I forced a smile after saying that.
The man was the first to spoke, "I'm kazehaya and this is my twin sister, Kaori"
I replied back, my voice not shaky anymore.
"I'm yuki"
They exchange a looks at each other before saying anything.
"We wished to team up with you," the girl spoke before her brother.
I just give a thumbs up, it's not everyday I get to team up with someone. There's not a single coworker that is willing to help me
So why waste this opportunity.
I stood up and asked, "can I invite someone as well?"
They exchange glance again before nodding.
I gestured for them to follow me and they did as gestured.
I looked all around and then finally I saw her.
I was looking for the little girl earlier a kid with just a dagger She's gonna get bitten the moment she stab that weapon in the zombie.
She sat alone while sharpening her dagger.
I crouched and offered my hand and said while gentle voice, "do you want to team up with us?"
