When Cang Yue opened her eyes once again, she was stunned to find that she didn't have a body, at least not in a traditional sense.
At the moment, she was riding the small blue spiritwing. However, she seemed to be linked to it in the sense that it would follow her every command. It was such a wonderful feeling that even she, who had seen countless wondrous things, was entranced by it.
She then glanced around to see her surroundings, only to find herself in an empty, dark space. There was no ground underneath her, no trees, no animals, nothing... The only thing in that empty space was hundreds of thousands of small specks of light floating around aimlessly, which gave off a warm and fuzzy feeling.
For a moment, she couldn't help but wonder if she was floating in the starry sky.
