She moved carefully, not wanting to wake Elian. The child slept peacefully in his alcove, small face relaxed in genuine rest rather than exhaustion-enforced unconsciousness. Two days of safety. Two days of consistent protection. It was starting to sink in that the nightmare had ended.
Mira stirred from her own sleeping space, healer's instincts bringing her alert at unusual sounds. "Problem?"
"Unknown." Raven pulled on her jacket, checking that her weapons were secured out of habit. "Stay with Elian. I'll handle it."
