Looking at the panel, Leno was overjoyed—he had finally broken through.
"It's about time I head back."
At the small tavern, as soon as he entered, the boss loudly called to the staff: "Our big customer is here again! Everyone, get to it!" Leno could only shake his head.
For the past two months, Leno had eaten here regularly, making the owner a fortune. Naturally, when the boss saw him, his enthusiasm was overflowing.
"Boss, five hundred portions of food," Leno said helplessly. His appetite these days was much larger than before.
"Right away, sir! Please wait a moment, the dishes will be ready soon!"
After the meal, he bid farewell. When the boss learned Leno was leaving, regret filled his face—he hadn't made enough money yet, so why was this god of wealth leaving so soon?
Next, Leno went to the factory in town and bought up all their insulation materials.
Then, he departed from Raijin Island, where he had stayed for over two months.
On the Red Line, in Mary Geoise, within the residence of the Celestial Dragons, a massive dragon stretching for over a kilometer suddenly drifted across the sky. (T/N: @andrej_lisec do you think he read your comment and came back to harvest more world nobles xD)
The crowd below froze for a moment, then erupted in excitement:
"A dragon! It's a dragon! I want it as my mount! Guards, guards!"
Others drooled in envy, all demanding the dragon be made their pet.
Pangaea Castle – Room of Authority – the Five Elders' chambers.
"Report, my Lords! Just now, a dragon over a kilometer long flew above Mary Geoise—suspected to be Kaido."
"Nonsense! Kaido is still on Onigashima. Go! Find out who dares act with such arrogance!" St. Saturn roared.
"Y-Yes!" The CP agent retreated in fear.
"A kilometer-long dragon... could it be another Mythical Zoan?" St. Nusjuro muttered.
"No matter who it is, flying so brazenly above Mary Geoise is outright provocation. I suggest ordering the Navy to investigate thoroughly!" St. Saturn declared again.
"Agreed," echoed the other four.
Sabaody Archipelago – Shakky's Rip-Off Bar.
Rayleigh was drinking with Red-Haired Shanks and his crew.
"Shanks, are you heading back to the East Blue again?"
"Yeah, Rayleigh-san. I met an interesting kid there. You know, he said the exact same words as the Captain once did," Shanks said excitedly.
"Is that so? Funny enough, I also met a kid from the East Blue who was quite interesting, haha... But you'd better be careful—Garp recently returned to the East Blue too."
"R-Really? That's... troublesome," Shanks' face stiffened.
Just as Shanks was about to ask more, he suddenly turned his head. The others followed, gazing outside.
"Kaido?! No... the aura doesn't feel right," Yasopp said.
"No, not Kaido. It's someone unfamiliar," Shanks affirmed.
"But the aura isn't weak... and the size looks way too much like Kaido," Beckman muttered.
Shanks lowered his head in thought. Rayleigh's glasses flashed with light, suspicion forming in his mind—though he found it hard to believe.
Leno flew nonstop until he reached Water 7.
At Galley-La Company, he was again greeted by Tilestone.
"Sir, do you have any special requests? Your ship is still under construction."
"No, nothing like that. I brought materials for you—these are special insulation materials. Give them to your boss, he'll know how to use them."
As Leno spoke, he produced the vast amount of materials, then vanished before Tilestone's stunned eyes.
"T-This..."
It had been a long time since he last came to Sky Island. Ascending ten thousand meters into the air, Leno looked at the Gate of Heaven, recalling the time he first came to seize gold. Back then, he had rushed in and out quickly.
He spread his Observation Haki, covering the entire island. Raising a brow, he gave a wry smile—they really had turned him into some kind of prophet.
God's Island – Upper Yard.
On the square before the palace, people arrived one after another to worship the statue of their "God." Yes, the Skypieans had built a ten-meter-tall statue of Leno.
Over the years, whenever pirates from the Blue Sea came causing trouble, the Sky Island guards wiped them out. Their reverence for "God" grew as Leno had given them methods of training and the ability to defend their homeland.
God had ended the civil wars, bringing unity to Sky Island.
Later, at Gan Fall's suggestion, the people unanimously agreed to build a statue and a temple for their God.
"Since I am your God, then I shall show you a miracle."
"Boom!" "Boom!"
"Boom!" "Boom!" In an instant, the entire sky above the island was filled with lightning. The whole Sky Island was filled with flashes of lightning and rumbling thunder. Then, all the lightning converged in the sky above the temple square, forming Leno's body.
"It's God! God has returned!"
"Mom, I saw the living God!"
"Our God is back—wahhh!"
"Shff!" "Shff!" "Shff!"
Neat footsteps echoed as two squads approached, kneeling in unison.
"Greetings, God! Welcome home!"
The rest of the islanders also knelt: "Greetings, God! Welcome home!"
"Enough, all of you rise. Wyper, and you guards—you've done well. I can see you haven't slacked off. I'm very pleased."
"We dare not forget your teachings, God!" they shouted in unison.
"Good. Wyper, come with me inside. The rest may leave."
Looking at the bird feather tucked at Wyper's ear, Leno asked: "Wyper, are you the chief now?"
"Yes, God. Two years ago, the old chief passed the position to me. Oh, I've already sent word to the old chief and to High Priest Gan Fall to come pay their respects."
"No need. If I need them, I'll find them. This time, I mainly came to see how Sky Island is developing, and whether you need my help."
"But it seems even without me, you're doing very well. I'm satisfied."
"God, only with your protection can Sky Island remain peaceful forever!" Wyper cried, kneeling in panic.
"Get up. Being a chief has made you think too much. Enough—I mean nothing else by it. You may leave." Leno waved helplessly.
"Yes, God." Seeing the weariness in Leno's eyes, Wyper bowed and withdrew.
Leno walked into the side hall.
A massive cloud-bed lay in the center, curtains hanging down. On either side stood cabinets filled with exquisite porcelain.
Opposite the bed was a desk, with a bookshelf against the wall. Decorations unique to Sky Island filled the corners.
Just as Leno prepared to enjoy the feeling of sleeping on clouds, six beautiful girls with wings walked in one after another.
"You want me to see this? Well, now I'm definitely not sleepy anymore..."
