"Hahaha… keep shouting! Why aren't you yelling anymore? Let me tell you—this island belongs to our Dick Family. Everything here follows our rules!
Our boss, Dick Dres, is the true master of this island! Hand over your ship and all your money, and maybe we'll spare your lives." The black-clad leader spoke arrogantly, as if granting them charity.
"What?! You want to steal my money? Dream on! That money is mine!" Nami shouted furiously.
"Yours? Not for long. Will you hand it over nicely, or should we take it ourselves?!"
"Fine, I'll give it to you… give you something better… Lightning Bolt!" Nami pulled out her Clima-Tact while pretending to agree.
The gangsters thought Nami would comply, but then thunder suddenly crashed down from above, and the group collapsed, twitching and scorched.
Leno patted Nami's head approvingly. "Good job, Nami. Your speed's improved."
"Hehe…" she grinned.
"So, Leno, where do we go next?"
"Since that Dres fellow wants our belongings, we should deliver it to him personally. Asking for a little service fee in return shouldn't be too much, right?"
"Not too much! Not too much at all! It's perfectly fair! In fact, we should charge extra!" Nami's eyes had already turned into the shape of Berries.
"Ahh! Nami's eyes… they turned into Berries!" Chopper screamed in horror.
The others just rolled their eyes.
Arriving at Dick Dres's estate, Nami couldn't help but marvel. "Wow, rich people really do live in mansions this big… there must be mountains of savings inside."
Before she could finish, a flood of armed men poured out, surrounding them.
"So you're the ones who own that ship? Bold of you to come here on your own!" The crowd parted, and a fat man in a yellow plaid shirt and suit waddled out.
"You're Dick Dres? The one who wanted our ship and our treasures?" Nami asked, stepping forward.
Meanwhile, in the West Blue Navy Branch No. 80, inside the colonel's office—
"Report!"
"Enter." Colonel Caro Rain, commander of Branch 80, puffed on his cigarette, eyes scanning a newspaper without lifting his head.
"Sir! After defeating one of Dick Dres's crews, that group has gone straight to his estate. A clash between the two sides is imminent!"
Rain put down his paper, thinking for a moment. "Tell Bright to lead the First and Second squads to lie in wait. Whichever side loses, arrest them all and seize the spoils. If necessary… eliminate both sides. He can judge the situation himself."
"Yes, sir!" The messenger saluted and hurried out.
Back at Dres's manor—
"Right, what about Daz Bones?" Dres suddenly asked.
"Eh? That black-skinned guy was yours? We already sent him home," Chopper replied innocently.
Leno gave him a strange look. 'Chopper, is that really the right tone here?'
"Stop wasting time with him. Let's get this over with," Nami urged.
Murder flashed in Dres's eyes. "Fine then. Since you're in such a hurry… I'll grant your wish." He backed into the crowd.
Just as he retreated, Kuina stepped forward. Her sharp eyes flared—whoom—and Conqueror's Haki swept across the field. One after another, the black-clad thugs rolled their eyes back and collapsed unconscious.
Dres himself didn't faint, but his legs gave out, and he sat frozen in terror. A spreading yellow stain wet his trousers, pooling beneath him.
Nami walked up, fanning her nose in disgust. "Get up and take us to your treasure vault. Or we'll kill you."
While Nami and the others headed to the vault, the Navy squads still waited outside.
"Captain, it's been quiet inside—no gunfire, no shouting. Should we send scouts to check?"
"Give it a bit... If it's still silent, send men in." Captain Bright calmly puffed on his cigar.
"As expected of the captain, wise as always!"
Inside the vault—
"Whoa… there must be hundreds of millions of Berries here! All mine, all mine!" Nami dove into the piles of Berries and gold, inhaling deeply.
"Leno, what are you waiting for? Pack it up! We'll count it later. Tonight I want my whole room filled with gold and Berries." She even tucked a golden pistol into her belt with a grin.
"Hello, what about him?"
"Kill him. Gangsters are no good. They traffic people, sell organs, and loot. They're no different from pirates."
Moments after they left, the Navy stormed in—only to find Dick Dres beheaded and his vault stripped bare. With no choice, Bright ordered the arrest of all gang members and launched a full purge of the gang's remnants throughout town.
Thus, the Dick Family, which had secretly ruled the island for years, was wiped out. The Navy finally took actual control of the island.
And the true culprits? They were already sailing merrily toward their next destination.
A strange sea, heavy snow falling.
On the deck, Leno and Chopper were happily playing in the snow and building snowmen. Chopper was ecstatic, rolling around in the snow.
"Look, Chopper! Behold—Giant Chopper!" Leno showed off his creation: a snowman Chopper.
"Sugoi! I'll build one too! Haha!" Chopper eagerly piled snow into a snowman Leno—though its nose was a little too long.
Seeing their fun, Nojiko joined in. Soon, everyone was throwing snowballs, laughter ringing out as no one escaped unscathed.
Finally, exhausted, they all stopped.
"Leno, put away the gold and Berries in my room," Nami said calmly.
Leno eyed her up and down. "You sure? Can't you sleep without gold around?"
"Stupid Leno, you think I'm that… joking?" Her voice wavered.
"Not at all. Some people really faint at the sight of gold."
"Enough chatter! Hurry up and bring it all out!" Nami shoved him toward the cabin.
That night, at Nami's insistence, Leno emptied his pack—gold, Berries, jewels—until her entire room overflowed.
The sight left Nami squealing with joy until she fainted on the spot. The others, jaws dropping, weren't much better. They'd known Leno was rich—but this much? Even they were dazed.
From then on, their confidence soared. Backs straight, steps light, they carried themselves differently.
Kuina even remarked bluntly, "Even if Gol D. Roger's great treasure is real, it probably isn't more than Leno's hoard."
