Philread City, inside the Capone Family headquarters.
Pitt walked into Capone Bege's office with a newspaper in hand.
"Boss, look—this group in the paper landed in Philread City today. Should we do something about it?"
Capone Bege read the paper, puffed on his cigar, then looked up sternly at Pitt.
"Pitt, have you thought about whether our Capone Family can withstand the wrath of provoking such a powerhouse?"
"Boss, when the time comes, and the Hog Family is wiped out, I'll admit that it was all my doing behind your back. Sacrificing myself in exchange for the family's prosperity—I think it's worth it!" Pitt declared with pious resolve.
Bege didn't reply. He silently turned his chair toward the window. The smoke from his burning cigar curled upward. After a long silence, his voice came from behind the chair:
"Go do it."
"Yes, boss." Pitt bowed deeply and withdrew.
Bege casually picked the newspaper back up, staring at the photo of Leno clashing with Garp.
"Adventurer Leno, don't let me down."
In Philread City—
After splitting up from the others, the two girls followed Nami on their "exploration" journey.
As the three beautiful figures appeared on the streets, passersby couldn't help but turn their heads. Quite a few well-dressed men even tried to strike up conversations.
The trio were all tall, youthful, and strikingly attractive—exactly the kind of girls most sought after. In this kind of city environment, men with ill intentions would, of course, never let such high-class "prey" slip by.
After dealing with yet another group of pests, Nami grew annoyed.
"What's wrong with this city? It's so chaotic! Doesn't anyone keep order here? If that idiot Leno were here, I'd just dump all these annoying flies on him. They're ruining my mood."
Kuina, with Sakura Veil at her hip, spoke calmly.
"Leno said it himself—gangs are the main feature of the West Blue. I'd wager these people are organized. Most likely, a local gang has its eyes on us."
"That idiot Leno! He knows gangs run rampant here, yet he doesn't stay by our side to protect us. Just wait until we get back—I'll tickle him to death!" Nami fumed.
Nojiko sighed helplessly.
"Enough, Nami, stop complaining. Leno let us move separately because he trusts our strength. Besides, he can't be by our side every moment."
"Hey! Nojiko, whose sister are you, huh? The moment I say a word about him, you rush to defend him. Do you even remember you're my sister?" Nami snapped, dissatisfied.
Nojiko flushed awkwardly.
"N-no, I'm just stating the truth..."
"Hmph! One of these days, your blind loyalty is going to drive me insane. Let's go. Since they keep causing trouble for us, we'll take the fight to them. The Hog Family, right? Let them taste the wrath of this young lady for interrupting her shopping!"
Feeling a little guilty, Nojiko still followed as Nami stormed off toward the Hog Family's estate.
At that very moment, turning a corner came another trio—Chopper munching on cotton candy, with Leno and Carmen happily sipping drinks through straws.
When Nami saw their relaxed, carefree expressions, her anger instantly boiled over.
'Unbelievable! We've been harassed nonstop, can't even shop properly—and you three are enjoying yourselves?'
"Hey! You there!"
"Oh! Nami, you're here too," Leno grinned, oblivious to the fury in her eyes, and even cheerfully added, "Pretty lively place, isn't it?"
BOOM—Nami's rage materialized. Cloaked in blazing orange-red flames, she took one slow, menacing step after another toward them.
Sensing her terrifying aura, Chopper immediately darted behind Leno.
Nami vanished with a "Swish!" and then came a chorus of cursing and beating.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
"I'll teach you to eat snacks! I'll teach you to say 'lively'! I'll teach you to leave us alone—!" Nami roared, striking blow after blow.
"Aah, Aah, Nami, I'm sorry! I don't even know what I did wrong, but stop hitting me! Aah~" Leno's screams were endless.
Kuina and Nojiko quietly turned their heads aside, pretending to examine the scenery. They couldn't bear to watch. And truthfully, they were a little mad at Leno too—without contrast, there's no pain.
Chopper collapsed in shock at the sight.
"Leno was… was instantly defeated! Terrifying! Nami!" His fear of Nami was now etched into his very bones.
Carmen trembled in silence nearby, her face saying, I know nothing, this has nothing to do with me.
After venting her rage, Nami finally let Leno go. The group explained the situation.
"Nani!? They harassed you, tried to capture you for their pleasure? The Hog Family, was it? Let's go wipe them out right now!" Leno was furious—he'd taken a beating for no reason, all thanks to those worthless thugs.
The group marched off toward the Hog estate.
Inside the Capone Family base—
"Boss, that group is heading straight for the Hog Family," a subordinate reported.
Capone Bege stubbed out his cigar.
"Perfect. As soon as the fighting starts, signal our men. This time, we'll wipe out the Hog Family completely."
At the Hog Family manor—
Before the guards at the gate could even speak, Leno drew Wind Rift in a single slash.
The gate—and the men behind it—split in two. Thunderbolts swept through the estate, scorching every corner. Screams echoed as the manor fell into chaos.
The others exchanged looks. Was his temper really that bad? Chopper and Carmen, however, watched Leno in the lightning storm with shining eyes. "Sugoi! Sugoi!"
Leno entered the building and saw only a few trembling executives standing behind a desk, their guns scattered on the floor.
"Which one of you is Hog Mel?" Leno demanded.
"O-our boss isn't here!"
"R-right, he went out!" they babbled.
"Where?"
"W-we don't know!"
"Then what good are you?" Leno raised his blade to finish them—
"Wait!" Nami stepped in. "You guys —take me to where you keep your valuables and money. Otherwise, you'll be joining the rest outside."
Nojiko sighed and slapped her forehead. 'She'll never change this habit …'
Leno stepped outside, extending his Observation Haki. All over the city, gunfights and battles flared up.
"Hmm?" In a blink, he disappeared and reappeared above an alley, looking down at two groups facing off.
"Capone Bege, spare me this once," begged Hog Mel, cowering behind four bodyguards. "I'll give you Nico Robin's information and withdraw from Philread immediately—just please let me live."
Bege adjusted his suit, cigar in his mouth.
"Mr. Mel, as a gentleman, I would never go too far. As long as you hand over Robin's whereabouts and promise to withdraw, I'll let you go."
Seeing this, Leno immediately understood: he had been used as a pawn! 'Very well.'
Leno returned to the Hog Family manor. After the women had finished collecting all the loot, he ordered Carmen to start preparing dinner. He planned to eat first before dealing with the rest of the situation.
