Chapter 111 - An Adventurer's 'Summit War' (Part V)

Garp leapt down from the execution platform, his fist glowing blood-red beneath a thick layer of Armament Haki, trailing a blinding streak of light as he shot toward Leno.

Sensing the incoming threat, the three Admirals immediately synchronized their assault, launching a fierce coordinated attack to pin Leno in place and deny him any room to dodge.

Clang!

Leno's blade clashed against Aokiji's ice saber and Kizaru's light sword, while the dragon tail behind him whipped around to meet Akainu's magma fist head-on.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The shockwaves of their collision rippled outward, tearing through the plaza and filling the air with dust and wind. Just as Garp's blazing fist came within reach, the three Admirals disengaged in perfect timing.

Reacting instantly, Leno pivoted. The blade in his hand flared with black and violet lightning as he swung with all his might.

"Dragon Force—Dragon Fang!"

Shreeeek!

A shrill metallic cry split the heavens. For an instant, all sound vanished from the world.

Dark red lightning erupted around both men, writhing violently through the air. The resulting shockwave tore through Marineford like a hurricane, flattening everything in its path.

All other battles across the plaza were forced to a halt as combatants raised defenses against the incoming storm.

The plaza cracked apart beneath their feet, a spiderweb of fractures spreading outward from Leno and Garp's clash. Massive chunks of rubble were hurled skyward. Even the surrounding buildings collapsed under the impact, and all of Marineford trembled.

When the dust finally cleared, countless Marines and pirates alike rose unsteadily from the rubble, staring in horror at the ruined plaza.

"What... what kind of destructive power is that? He's a damn monster!"

"Fufufufufu…"

Seated casually atop a mound of corpses, Doflamingo's eerie laughter echoed through the silence, snapping everyone back to reality.

After witnessing Leno's terrifying strength firsthand, Doflamingo decisively abandoned any thought of attacking his crew. He had an empire to maintain—and crossing that monster would be suicidal.

Zzzzt!

Arcs of lightning flashed as Leno reappeared, standing calmly a few meters from Garp.

"Hey, old man Garp. You really don't pull your punches, huh?"

"Gahahahaha! You've changed, kid! You're not that green rookie who first set out to sea anymore!"

Despite his hearty laugh, Garp's eyes betrayed a tinge of nostalgia and melancholy.

"To deal with you now, I can't afford to hold back. I've got to go all out."

Around them, the Marines were speechless. Leno had taken Garp's full-force punch and was still standing, unharmed and smiling.

"Y-you're kidding me… that kind of hit didn't even scratch him?"

Kizaru touched the wound on his chest, eyes wide. Akainu stood grim-faced and silent, fury simmering beneath his skin.

On the far side of the plaza, Hancock's eyes sparkled as she clasped her hands together.

"Lord Leno, you're the strongest!"

Jinbe, standing guard near Robin, could barely believe his eyes.

"Incredible… his power is on par with the legends themselves."

Aokiji stepped forward to stand beside Garp, his breath visible in the chill air.

"Ara ara… looks like taking down this 'Thunder God' won't be easy."

Seeing the others approach, Leno raised a brow and smirked.

"Hard things are what I'm best at."

"Hm? What do you mean, brat?" Garp frowned, sensing something was off.

From the very beginning, Leno had been full of tricks—each move unraveling the Navy's careful strategy. What was he planning now?

Before anyone could ask, a strange darkness swept over the plaza. The sunlight dimmed as though the sky itself were being swallowed.

People glanced upward, confused. It was a clear, bright day—no clouds in sight.

Then they saw it.

Bodies froze. Weapons slipped from trembling hands.

"Th-this… this can't be real."

"I… I must be seeing things."

Terror spread like wildfire. Some laughed hysterically. Others turned to flee in blind panic.

A suffocating dread filled the air as every eye lifted to the heavens—where a massive island was plummeting from the sky.

"Hey! That idiot Leno—this is his backup plan?! Is he trying to bury all of us?!"

"Captain, help! I don't want to die!"

Nami and Chopper screamed, clutching each other as the shadow of the falling island grew larger by the second.

They remembered his words before the battle—his secretive preparations, his request for Shakky's Calm Belt coordinates.

So that was it. He'd prepared an entire island… to crash into Marineford itself.

"Oi oi oi! Dropping a whole island?! That's insane!"

"Fufufufufu…"

Doflamingo's grin only widened as he stared skyward, his excitement barely contained. It didn't matter who won or lost—chaos was the only thing he lived for.

Nearby, Moria trembled, cold sweat running down his face.

"Wh-what kind of monster is this?! What is that power?!"

Garp and Sengoku's expressions turned pale as they looked up.

"You damned brat! Are you trying to sink Marineford into the sea?!"

There was no time to think. Sengoku leapt from the platform, transforming midair into his towering golden Buddha form. The Admirals and Garp followed suit, unleashing everything they had to stop the descending island.

Leno, however, didn't move.

As they prepared to act, his dragon-like eyes flashed—and an overwhelming wave of Conqueror's Haki exploded outward, engulfing Garp and the three Admirals.

"Leno! What the hell are you doing?!"

Garp roared, enraged and confused. The island was seconds away from impact—yet this brat was interfering!

Leno simply smiled, his gaze sliding toward Kizaru.

"…Not good."

Kizaru's pupils contracted. The moment their eyes met, a chill ran down his spine. He tried to transform into light—but his body suddenly froze mid-motion.

Schlkk!

"—Kizaru!"

"Admiral Kizaru!"
