I know that while reading this fanfic, some of you might complain that I'm not following the exact MCU timeline, that certain events in this story happen earlier than they did in the official movies. So let me clear this up: I'm not using Marvel's official timeline. I'm sticking to the Unofficial MCU Timeline, built directly from the events shown in the films themselves.
Now, I'll be honest, I didn't sit down and rewatch every single MCU movie with a notebook in hand. Luckily for me, someone else did: David Daut. He did an incredible deep dive into the MCU up through Infinity War, cataloguing everything based on the clues and dates mentioned in the movies. If you want to find that blog, just search in Google David Daut Unofficial MCU Timeline. Seriously, when I read his work, my brain just went 🤯 mind blown.
I use his research as a foundation, but I may adjust the timing if necessary for the story. So don't treat the blog as a strict rulebook, just as a reference. And if you still feel like complaining about the timeline, well… go file your grievances with David instead. (I hear he might accept payment in shawarma 😏).
Anyway, the point is: this story follows his Unofficial MCU Timeline, not Marvel's official one.
