about black dragon society

Hi readers,

To understand the world you are about to enter, you must first understand the Black Dragon Society.

It was born in the mid-21st century, forged not in boardrooms, but in the fire of ambition, blood, and cunning. Its founder gathered the most talented, ruthless, and brilliant individuals from across the globe.

Seven powerful organizations—gangsters, mafia families, and shadow syndicates—answered his call. They were drawn not by honor, but by the promise of stepping out of the darkness that had consumed their lives and into a light they themselves could control.

Yet it was not just these groups that defined the Society. The founder handpicked ten extraordinary individuals, each a master in their own field, each gifted with a singular talent. Their expertise spanned strategy, combat, espionage, healing, finance, technology, and protection—skills so potent they could shape the fate of nations. Together, they formed the backbone of the Society—the arms through which the Dragons' vision would extend, the enforcers of their will, and the instruments of a power that would stretch across continents.

The Black Dragon Society was built upon the ashes and blood of rival organizations, seizing their wealth, territory, and influence to grow stronger. In its infancy, it was merely an alliance for survival. But ambition, greed, and the thirst for supremacy soon transformed it into a shadow empire, stretching its claws across nations.

Even after stepping into the light, the Society never forgot its roots. To the world, they appeared as protectors, a force of order and authority. Behind closed doors, however, the shadows of their past whispered still. Every move was calculated, every smile hiding a knife.

And so, from blood, ambition, and unparalleled skill, the Black Dragon Society rose—not just as an organization, but as a legend whispered in fear, awe, and reverence across the world, a shadow empire cloaked in light, shaping the world from behind the veil.

From its foundation, the hierarchy of the Black Dragon Society took form. It's split into twelve ranks:

Zeroth Rank – Dragon emperor

The supreme head whose vision directs every action.

First Order – Dragons

Seven powerful families, each controlling a continent or large region, setting the strategic and political direction.

Second Order – The Pillars

Ten masters leading the Society's core departments.

Third Order – Nobles

Vassal families supporting the Dragons, providing resources, manpower, and loyalty.

Fourth Order – The Emissaries

Enforcers under the Pillars.

They ensure commands are carried out.

Odd Ranks (5, 7, 9, 11)

Regional administrators .

They keep order beneath Dragons and Nobles.

Even Ranks (6, 8, 10, 12)

Branch chiefs of departments.

They extend the Pillars' ministries worldwide.

More than 50 years had passed since the first Gates opened. The world had been reshaped by their chaotic power, and the Black Dragon Society had faced trials that would have crushed lesser organizations.

Three of the original Dragons had been annihilated, their families wiped from existence. One more had been brought to the brink of destruction, surviving only through the courage and cunning of its few remaining descendants. Among the Nobles, only thirteen families had endured, clinging to life and influence in a world that had grown more dangerous with each passing year.

Now, the Patil Family, the founding clan holds absolute control over the Society. The Dragons no longer share equal authority — they exist only as figureheads or shadows of their former glory.

To maintain the illusion of shared power, some loyal houses were elevated to Noble status, but their number has dwindled to only 24 surviving families. These Nobles serve as influential managers across regions, yet their role is carefully monitored and tightly bound by the Patil Family's grip.

The balance of power that once spread across seven Dragons has collapsed into a near-dynastic rule, with the Black Dragon Society operating less like a coalition and more like a centralized global empire under one bloodline.
