Chapter 5 - Orowyn And Zaglith

John raised three fingers—his index, middle, and ring—in preparation for his next move.

"Battlefield Magic: Seal of Heaven and Earth."

In that instant, only John's voice could be heard, resonating directly in the mind as though it bypassed the ears.

The space around the three dragons warped into what looked like a vast, endless plain beneath an empty sky, completely cut off from the outside world. That was the purpose of battlefield magic. There were many types of battlefield spells—Lava Zone, Forest Zone, Sky Zone—but they all shared one thing in common: they isolated the effects of the battle from the outside world and amplified the magic associated with their element. For example, in Lava Zone, fire magic would become stronger; in Forest Zone, earth and plant magic would be enhanced.

"This boy is truly interesting… This is the first time I've seen this type of battlefield magic," Silver muttered, unconsciously shifting from calling him a "little ant" to a "boy." He hadn't realized yet that this was a technique John himself had invented. No one truly knew what its effects were.

John lowered his hand and began his next action. "Seal!"

"What's happening?! Where did my magic go?!" Zaglith screamed as he suddenly felt his mana vanish from within his body.

This was the effect of the "Battlefield Magic: Seal of Heaven and Earth."

"Calm yourself—it must be a trick from the enemy," Orowyn reassured him.

"So… is it time for you to fight in my domain now?" John sneered, mocking them both.

The reason he hadn't used this ability from the start was simple—he had planned to unleash it against Silver himself. But Zaglith and Orowyn's strength had exceeded his expectations.

"He can't use his magic either. Dragon bodies are millions of times stronger than humans. Without his strange healing spell, he won't be able to fight us physically. And it seems we can still use Dragon Breath." Orowyn thought to himself, confident.

Dragon Breath wasn't dependent on mana. It was more like a natural ability present since birth, much like breathing for humans.

John smiled. "Asura Hell Form."

Four additional arms sprouted from his body, along with two more heads.

"What?! How are you still using magic inside this battlefield?!" Orowyn gasped in shock.

"Who said I couldn't?" John replied with a mocking grin.

The truth was, John couldn't use his own magic in this space either. But he hadn't been relying on it to begin with. Instead, he used the Infinite Mana Circle, this skill absorbed mana directly from nature and converted it into his own. but on this battlefield space, he can only release it immediately in the form of attacks or transformations. however, if there is a complex spells requiring long activation times couldn't be used. Only instant techniques, such as Asura Form, were possible.

In that moment, John charged straight at Zaglith.

"You think I'm the weakest one?! Take this!" Zaglith roared, unleashing his Dragon Breath.

The frozen dragon breath covered John completely.

The Dragon Breath, like human breathing, required inhalation. No dragon could exhale it forever. Zaglith poured everything into the attack until he stopped, gasping.

"Where is he? Did I kill him? No… impossible. If he were dead, there would be traces of him within my icy breath."

Only then did he realize his head was no longer attached to his body.

"What? Why is my body… far away from my head?" Zaglith whispered, stunned, just as his life ended.

When the breath reached him, John had already teleported behind the dragon. With Asura Form amazing physical strength, and his manipulation of the elemental energy within Zaglith's body, he sliced through the dragon's neck.

Dragon bodies were heavily composed of magic, making Asura's elemental manipulation huge effective against them. The Seal of Heaven and Earth didn't affect their magic body—otherwise, they would have died instantly.

Asura Form granted Amazing physical strength, lightning speed, control over elemental magic, and super-regeneration.

"Zaglith!!"Orowyn cried out. Though they weren't friends, but Zaglith's loyalty to their king and his strength had never been in question.

Furious, Orowyn attacked John with everything he had—claws, fangs, and Dragon Breath. But Asura Form was far too powerful. Without his magic, Orowyn was completely outmatched.

Within moments, John damaged him with countless blows, leaving the Orowyn in critical condition and near death.

"It seems… this is the end for me. Forgive me, My Lord. My only regret is that I wasn't strong enough to slay your enemies… But I won't die by his hand like that! At least, I'll take one of his arms with me!" Orowyn roared and lunged, biting down on John's arm with his last strength.

"You want it? Then take it!" John shouted, activating explosive magic directly inside Orowyn's mouth.

The dragon's body destroyed from within, completely annihilated.

It wasn't that John had to sacrifice his arm to kill Orowyn—Asura Form has super-regeneration. Even without that, John's body itself carried transcendent regeneration that didn't consume magic at all. He did this because it was simply the fastest way to finish the fight.

Orowyn died, his corpse still standing tall before John, as if to block his path to Silver even in death.

"You both fought well, Zaglith, Orowyn. You were my strongest and the most loyal without question. Do not worry… I will send this human to join you, so you won't feel lonely in the afterlife."

Silver finally moved, burning the two corpses to ash with his black flames.

John waited patiently. He knew Orowyn and Zaglith combined strength was not even half of Silver's alone.

"So, this is how you're casting magic here?" Silver asked, a smile forming across his face.

"What?! How can you use my Infinite Mana Circle?" John's eyes widened.
