Chapter 104: Tang San in Critical Condition and Unconscious
"Life God King, how is Third Brother's condition? How much longer before he wakes up?"
Xiao Wu raised her head, her eyes filled with anticipation as she looked at the Life God King, who was radiating a peaceful aura and dressed in a deep green gown.
Her voice trembled slightly, full of worry about Tang San's injuries.
"I can only say that Tang San's injuries are quite severe. With my healing abilities, I cannot make any significant impact in a short time. The attack from before directly injured his original life force," the Life God King said, her brow furrowed in concern.
"I am unable to fully investigate this mysterious and powerful force. A small mistake could even result in me being affected by Tang San's original life force," she continued, her tone tinged with helplessness and worry.
"Ultimately, it depends on whether Tang San can wake up on his own. After he wakes, I might be able to use my life force to heal his original injury."
"Right now, he's unconscious, and I can't act rashly, as it might worsen the situation," she added, gently shaking her head, her eyes filled with helplessness.
She knew how powerful the previous attack had been.
Even though the four of them had worked together to stop it, they had paid a heavy price, losing a significant portion of the divine realm's original power to barely block the attack.
The other gods present understood the Life God King's words and felt the same sense of dread regarding that attack.
However, they were also increasingly displeased with Tang San's actions.
All the trouble the divine realm was facing now was caused by Tang San.
For now, they had no choice but to wait for him to wake up before holding him accountable.
Regardless, as one of the five law enforcers of the divine realm, Tang San could not escape responsibility for what had happened and would face the necessary punishment.
A heavy and oppressive atmosphere filled the entire palace.
After a while, the four great gods of the divine realm left Tang San's palace one by one.
The heavy palace doors slowly closed behind them.
As the gods stepped out of the palace, their eyes became sharp, immediately locking onto the surroundings.
They saw that the shattered space power had spread like a spider's web, with occasional flashes of eerie blue lightning coming from the rifts in the void. The chains of order had completely broken down.
What was once a magnificent and vibrant divine realm now appeared as a ruin, ravaged by battle, with crumbling walls everywhere.
The scene was a stark contrast to the lively and thriving place it had once been.
"Ai..."
Seeing this devastated sight, the Life God King and the others had grim expressions, their eyes filled with sorrow and concern.
Everything had happened so suddenly!
It was like a storm without warning, pulling the divine realm into the whirlpool of disaster.
Although the catastrophe was linked to Tang San, he was now in a deep coma and couldn't be held accountable.
For now, they could only set aside responsibility issues and focus on quickly repairing the divine realm, restoring order and vitality to this sacred land.
Despite their best efforts to block the destruction of the divine realm, many powerful beings had fallen in the crisis.
Now, to quickly restore the divine realm, they needed more powerful beings to support them.
A single thought appeared in the minds of the gods: to replenish the divine realm with new warriors, to find suitable inheritors, and bring new life to the divine realm.
"What do you all think about the fallen powerful beings in the divine realm?"
At that moment, the Destruction God King broke the silence, his tone serious as he looked at the others.
His eyes showed urgency and worry, as the divine realm was on the brink, and they needed to come up with a solution quickly.
"Is there anything we can do about it?" the Evil God King said with a helpless shrug, sighing bitterly. "Once we handle some matters, we'll just have to let suitable people inherit these remaining divine positions. We can't leave these positions empty."
"As long as we find the right inheritors, it won't take long before the divine realm is infused with new power," he continued.
"I plan to pass on my position as a God King," the Destruction God King added, his tone serious, with a flicker of determination in his eyes.
"By doing so, the divine realm will have one more God King, which will greatly aid in repairing the divine realm."
He had long wanted to free himself from the constraints of his position as the God of Destruction, and now, this crisis presented a perfect opportunity.
Once the new Destruction God King inherited his position, they could combine their powers and quickly restore the divine realm, bringing everything back on track.
"Then I'll pass on my Life God position as well," the Life God King also said, looking at the Destruction God King with a hint of expectation.
Both she and her husband had long grown tired of the strife in the divine realm and were eager to leave it behind, to explore other worlds.
Now, once they had passed on their divine positions, they would await the arrival of the new Destruction and Life God Kings, and after the divine realm was restored, they would leave to pursue their longed-for freedom and adventure.
"You two don't need to pass on your positions just yet," the Destruction God King suddenly interjected, his expression stern.
"Tang San is an unknown. If he wakes up later, you two need to balance him out. This way, he won't have absolute power in the divine realm, especially since this situation was caused by him."
"Once Tang San wakes up, we'll have him step down from his position as a law enforcer in the divine realm," the Destruction God King said decisively.
He understood the intentions of the Evil and Life God Kings and quickly made his decision.
The divine realm still needed some experienced God Kings, especially Tang San, whom the Destruction God King was wary of.
If he and the Life God King passed on their positions and left the divine realm, while the Evil and Life God Kings also gave up their positions, the divine realm would likely fall under Tang San's control.
To maintain balance, they could not all relinquish their positions at once. They had to ensure that the power structure of the divine realm remained balanced.
"Then let's proceed as you said," the Evil God King said with a shrug, letting out a resigned sigh.
"However, I hope the two of you can pass on your positions quickly. Once the new gods arrive, both I and the Good God King will be able to relax and search for inheritors ourselves."
The Destruction God King's words made sense. The divine realm could not be ruled by Tang San alone.
That would mean more responsibility for the Life and Evil God Kings, as they had to stay in the divine realm longer to fulfill their duty of protecting it.
"You two go ahead and make the necessary repairs to the divine realm. Life and I will search the divine realms' territories and find suitable human inheritors for our positions," the Destruction God King ordered, his voice firm and strong.
On one hand, they needed to repair the damaged divine realm, restoring life to the land.
On the other hand, they needed to find suitable inheritors to inject new hope into the divine realm's future.
