With one hand propping himself up, Li Yao didn't even take a moment to stand up in his new body, nor did he say a word to Koyuki. He immediately sat cross-legged, his hands forming a seal mid-air as two orbs of black, ink-like chakra formed in his palms and began to fuse.
Seeing this, Koyuki instantly understood—Uncle had successfully taken over the new body. She also realized he was now testing a new jutsu. She carefully controlled the paper bird's flight to keep it stable and not disrupt him.
The two orbs of chakra in Li Yao's hands—one was from the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing, the other from Storage Space chakra.
Li Yao focused all his will on their fusion.
The moment he left Akatsuki, he had anticipated the possibility of clashing from a distance with Uchiha Madara. He had already been prepared to sacrifice the body of Kimura Yao.

White Zetsu was still following Li Yao's paper bird underground.
"What now, Lord Madara? If Li Yao reveals everything about you and Nagato…"
Black Zetsu panicked. Who could've imagined such a sure-win situation could end in total failure?
How had Li Yao discovered and erased the will imprints from both himself and Madara?
Even if discovered, how could he possibly remove them?
Even Black Zetsu himself couldn't erase the will imprints of others.
And Li Yao didn't even have the Rinnegan—how had he done it?
Too many questions.

Madara clapped his hands together and summoned four White Zetsu.
He swiftly gouged out one White Zetsu's eye, then removed both of his own Sharingan and implanted them into that same Zetsu's eye sockets. He then projected part of his will into it—like a Six Paths clone.
The other three Zetsu—including the one occupied by Black Zetsu—were given temporary barrier jutsu through similar projection techniques.
"Go. Find that little brat and trap him with the Four Red Yang Formation. I'll personally tear off his head and absorb his soul."
Madara's voice was cold.
Only he could deal with Li Yao now.
Li Yao had broken free of his control. That was beyond anything Madara had expected.
He realized: if he didn't act fast, things could spiral out of control.
If Li Yao survived, the Rinnegan in Nagato's body was at risk of being destroyed.
He had to kill Li Yao now—before he could fully regain mastery of all seven chakra natures and their derived kekkei genkai.
Later, with Li Yao's refined soul and powerful sealing jutsu, he would be nearly impossible to kill.
Especially since the man could fly.
Madara had no choice. Even if it cost him years of his lifespan—he had to end this.
The White Zetsu, empowered with Six Paths abilities, dove underground toward Li Yao.
A great crisis was heading Li Yao's way.
This truly was his weakest moment.
But not because he had lost his seven-nature chakra mastery after switching bodies.
Li Yao had already learned how to alter his mental energy waves. He had transcended the limits of chakra affinity imposed by physical bodies.
Even if his new vessel was only proficient in Water Release, Li Yao could still produce all chakra natures, including all his previously mastered kekkei genkai.
His true power lay in his soul—not his body.
The only limitation now was chakra volume.
And that was his greatest weakness.
That's why Li Yao urgently needed to master a space technique.
With it, no barrier or trap could contain him.
