Valentina's deflated ego burned so hard, she didn't even worry when Gina showed up.

"Carpo?!" Gina called out in shock.

"Carpo, I can explain." She trembled.
"No need. You're not in the wrong. I made her bring me out. Practically forced her to. If you want to punish anyone, then punish me. Oh wait— you can't. You made a deal."
"Fuck that deal Valentina!" He turned to her. "If you're not going to respect my orders, then I don't have to respect any fucking deals!"
