Luciano's heart pounded like the force from a hurricane.
"What did you just say?"
The boys around were alert after they heard the name Julien mentioned. But the question he just asked, made them ready to get active, despite not knowing what the problem was.
"I think I should just let you speak to her."
The line went silent, and Luciano began to walk away.
"Luciano!" Vittorio called, running after him.
Salvatore stayed back. This wasn't something he could handle. It seemed like a job for Vittorio.
Not Vittorio as the second in command. But Vittorio as the best friend.
Luciano counted the seconds, knowing that the call was still active but he just wasn't hearing any sound.
