Chapter 10 Part 4 Chains of Flesh and Fate
The drug slaves' attacks ceased; they opened a space to ring them in. A door in the chamber opened; four massive figures entered as the others parted for them.
Four drug slaves stood at the front. "These are my four great drug slaves. Let them take your measure," the Cloud Lord said.
Tianming whispered in Shaoyu's ear, "I found a mechanism maybe our way out. Buy me time."
"Only four slaves, to 'measure' your young master? Let them all come. Watch me break them one by one."
"Arrogant." A drug slave stepped forward the Cloud Lord meant a one-on-one.
Shaoyu, born strong; the slave, tireless and unfeeling; their clash was brutal. With Shaoyu deliberately creating chaos, their fight range grew wide; to avoid interfering, the other slaves retreated to the walls; only the other three held their ground.
Stone Orchid also knew illusions; while the Cloud Lord's focus drifted, she cast a veil to hide Tianming so he would escape notice unless the Cloud Lord looked closely.
Tianming crept along the chamber, seeking the escape trigger.
The slaves were strong but mindless. With cunning, Shaoyu defeated three of the four not killing them, but breaking limbs.

Hearing Tianming, Shaoyu realized he'd found a way. He clenched his fists and waded toward Yu Ziqi. Tianming pulled Stone Orchid back pretending to comfort her, but in truth edging toward the mechanism. He signaled Shaoyu to hurry.
Using a trick, Shaoyu took Yu Ziqi's force and let it carry him toward Tianming. When he landed, Tianming flashed Non-Aggression and opened the trigger a hole yawned not far away. The three rushed; but the Cloud Lord finally moved, his great hands sweeping down to cut them off.
Shaoyu gritted his teeth, grabbed Tianming and Stone Orchid, and flung them through the opening then turned to meet the giant hands.
But Stone Orchid kicked off Tianming and, using the momentum, leaped back out. "Shaoyu!" Tianming's ragged cry was the last sound as the mechanism snapped shut.
Shaoyu stared at her return, sighed long. "You… really are a fool…" She answered by clutching him tight.
"Moved so moving. Undying love, to the death," the Cloud Lord said, appearing a short distance away at last. "I've played with you long enough time to end this." When drug slaves had taken Shaoyu and Stone Orchid, the Cloud Lord glanced upward, as if seeing Moon God seated in the Moon Palace. "So close can you not feel it? Moon God this favor I've given you."
At that moment, Moon God was instructing Yue'er; Yue'er, eyes closed, sensed the pulse of Yinyang arts as Moon God sat facing her and pointed at the center of her brow.
Gongshu Chou was surprised to see Xinghun seek him out; they'd had no relationship.
"Lord Xinghun's visit brings honor to my humble place," he said.

The praise swelled Gongshu's pride; the Mirage had taken over a decade and his life's learning an unmatched achievement that made him glow.
