"Oh, it's him again."
I stared at the man in black cloak. He looks like he needs help but of course I would not help him but I would like to take the credit from my rival.
I chased and caught the person before my rival could. The caught person was carrying gunpowder and matchsticks.
Was he planning burn the Festival down?
Before I could ask anything, one of the imperial guards came forward to tie him up, and the other guard said,
"Thank you, sir for assisting in capturing this man."
There was a crowd surrounding us, murmuring as the guard ties the man up.
The town's people praised me for my work. I gave a proud smirk at my rival who was glaring back at me. I watched him retreat.
I'm so proud of myself.
I thought to myself. But wait....I feel like I'm forgetting something..........
Oh! My sister, where is...she?
I walked around a but searching for her, only to find her infront of a candy shop.
Estelle'sPOV
"ESTELLE! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ?"
My brother screamed at me from behind. I turned and saw him marching towards me.
"Oh brother, I have been searching for you, EVERYWHERE!"
"Everywhere? At a candy shop ?" My brother asks
"Do you want some?" I asked holding out my candy stash and he sighed.
"Let's get back home. It's is getting awfully late."
Saying this , my brother and i returned by sneaking back into the estate as if nothing ever happened.
*NextMorning, At the dining table*
Third Person POV
Estelle is dozing off while cutting her steak, Erez is trying hard to prevent his eyes from closing.
"How was the Festival sweetie?" The Duchess Regina asks Estelle.
Estelle's eyes widens in shock, she looks at her brother who is fast asleep with a smile on his face. He is proud of what he had done last night.
"Oh!, I wonder what he is dreaming about? Perhaps a young lady?" The Duke says waking him up from his sweet dream.
"Uhmm.....yes, what did I miss?" Erez asks half asleep.
"So, How was the Festival?" The Duchess repeats the question.
" Festival? What festival? " Erez replied keeping a pokerface.
"Drop the act son, we know you sneaked out to the Festival." The Duke says.
Estelle and Erez recalled everything from last night to their parents. Erez however decided not to tell them about his rival and Estelle forgot to mention meeting a stranger
