Chapter 76 - Shadows of Dead

Somewhere deep within Euphoria, the air was thick, wet, heavy, and suffocating.

A crimson mist slithered between the trees, curling around broken stones and ancient roots like veins beneath the world's skin. The silence wasn't peace. It was a warning.

From within the fog, a faint shuffle echoed. Then another followed.

Feet rotted, dragging like soldiers disturbing the soil, crunching through fallen leaves and ash.

A figure emerged first, slow and deliberate. Cloaked in darkness, her eyes glowed a venomous green. Her lips curled upward in a cruel smile, revealing sharp, blackened teeth that caught the faint shimmer of moonlight. She moved like poison— graceful, precise and patient.

Behind her came the others.

Dozens of them.

Once men. Once women. Now nothing but twisted shells of what life had left behind. Their flesh hung loose, their bones cracked, and their mouths moved in a symphony of low, guttural growls that rolled through the trees like thunder.
