After Sun Breathing broke its limit, it transformed into Extreme Yang Breathing Method. During the battle in Infinity Castle, Seiichi attempted to combine it with Void Breathing. This resulted in a marvelous reaction. His Red Nichirin Sword turned into blue flames, and lotus imprints even appeared in his eyes.
It was very similar to Tanjiro's, but it wasn't Crimson Lotus Breathing. It was another variation. Would everyone's fusion of Sun Breathing and Void Breathing differ based on their individual characteristics?
Perhaps Crimson Lotus was a symbol of destiny in this world, unique to Tanjiro.
During this time, Seiichi's Medical Poison - Perfection advanced by leaps and bounds through multiple exchanges with Shinobu and Tamayo.
His swordsmanship had mostly reached its limit. It was already very difficult to make further breakthroughs in this world. Seiichi planned to spend the remaining time entirely on leveling up Extreme Sun Breathing.
However, as experience acquisition in this world became slower, Seiichi estimated that a major breakthrough was unlikely.
But looking at his luxurious panel, Seiichi had more than accomplished his purpose in coming to this world.
I am invincible in this world!
Drawing his Nichirin Sword, the snowy white blade gleamed with a chilling light. With a gentle tap, the long blade emitted a crisp hum, as if reluctant to part.
"Not yet, not yet. I'm reluctant to part with you too, old friend."
Half a month later,
Shinobu, with a resentful look in her eyes, arrived at Seiichi's courtyard. Kanao followed behind her.
In the courtyard, Seiichi was chatting with Tanjiro.
Shinobu pushed open the door without ceremony and stepped in. This was much to Seiichi's astonishment.
"I've never seen Shinobu-san in such a state. Honestly, Tanjiro, what did you do?"
Seiichi threw the nearby Tanjiro over.
Tanjiro rubbed the back of his head, looking embarrassed. Kanao, behind Shinobu, remained very calm.
"We don't have many people in our Butterfly Estate to begin with..."
"And you even abducted my disciple, Tanjiro-kun..."
Shinobu extended her hand. Tanjiro, his face flushed, showed no intention of dodging.
Instead of the expected scolding, she gently stroked Tanjiro's hair. Shinobu began to teach Tanjiro about various matters, family affairs, long and short. Under her gentle gaze, both Tanjiro and Kanao's eyes became moist.
"Shinobu-sensei..."
Interrupting Kanao's attempt to speak, Shinobu held both of their hands and brought them together.
"Tanjiro is a trustworthy person. Kanao, I'm very relieved that you're with him."
"Once this matter is settled, I will open the Butterfly Estate in the capital city. Just come and visit us often in the future."
Tears welled up in Kanao's eyes, and she rushed forward to hug Shinobu.
That's great!
Seiichi, watching from the side, thought to himself.
"Oh, by the way, Inosuke is now a member of our Butterfly Estate."
Shinobu playfully stuck out her tongue. Her purple eyes glanced at Seiichi, and then she left, leaving the two stunned individuals behind. Seiichi was momentarily lost in thought, surprised by this contrasting cuteness.
This person has become so lively since her great revenge was accomplished.
"Tanjiro."
Waking up the still-dazed Tanjiro, Seiichi patted both of their shoulders.
"I'm also preparing to leave the headquarters. If anything happens in the future, you can contact me via Kasugui Crow. Oh, by the way, I wish you two an early birth of a child..."
Seiichi also playfully winked and vanished in a flash. Tanjiro's face was already beet red, while Kanao beside him gently rubbed his hand, comforting him.
Parting always brings a bit of sadness. Everyone, you must be happy!
Tanjiro, realizing what had happened, gripped Kanao's hand, thinking with a touch of sadness.
In the distance, Seiichi, embarking on his journey, took out his small map. It marked the locations of various cities and all kendo dojos.
As expected of the Ubuyashiki Zaibatsu, they are truly formidable. Next, I'll go be a Sword Saint for fun.
Putting away the map, with a relaxed mindset, Seiichi strolled leisurely. He hummed a tune from Crimson Lotus and walked towards the direction where the sun was rising.
...
Several years later,
"Have you heard? Seiichi is coming to our dojo!"
"Who?"
"Sword Saint Seiichi!"
"Masaka (This is impossible)!"
"Our dojo is so weak! How could Sword Saint Seiichi possibly come here to challenge us?"
"It's said that he's already challenged all the other martial arts dojos in the city!"
"Ah?"
"I'm fighting a Sword Saint?"
Outside the door, the clamor was extraordinary. Countless heads tried to peer inside.
"What's all the noise about! That person hasn't arrived yet!"
An aged voice rang out. The clang of metal vibrated in their eardrums, and everyone instantly fell silent.
From behind the screen emerged an old man with white hair and wrinkles like knife cuts. Although his skin showed age spots, his frame was tall and straight, like a sharp sword piercing the sky.
Ryosuke Yamada, known as Old Man Suke, was a successor of the Ota-ryu style. In his early years, he was competitive and enjoyed brawling. In his later years, he opened an Ota-ryu kendo dojo and occasionally taught disciples.
"Old Man Suke, are you up to it?"
Some of Old Man Suke's acquaintances greeted him. They had never seen Ryosuke Yamada in action and thought he was just an ordinary swordsman.
In reality, Ryosuke Yamada was a Menkyo Kaiden of the Ota-ryu style. He was currently the only living Menkyo Kaiden of the Ota-ryu.
"He is here! He is here!"
A commotion arose in the crowd, and a figure walked through. People beside him unconsciously parted, and soon he entered the dojo.
Ryosuke Yamada's sharp eyes scrutinized the young man. Ice-blue eyes, handsome features, long hair casually tied up, dressed in a white samurai uniform, with a long blade at his waist.
It was Seiichi, who had traveled throughout the Demon Slayer World. Along the way, he had challenged every kendo dojo, never suffering a defeat. He earned a great reputation, known as Sword Saint Seiichi.
This was his last stop, the Ota-ryu dojo in Kyoto. Its owner, Ryosuke Yamada, was a very capable person.
"Please teach me!"
A gentle request came from Seiichi's mouth.
Without unnecessary words, Ryosuke Yamada drew the samurai sword from his waist and assumed the Ota-ryu stance. His right foot stomped fiercely. The ground emitted a dull thud, and the rustling sound of cutting wind accompanied Ryosuke Yamada's thrusting body.
With just a flash of the blade, a crisp shattering sound echoed. Ryosuke Yamada's samurai sword had already broken into two pieces, and the hair near his ear had been sliced off.
"I lose!"
Ryosuke Yamada decisively conceded. His strength was actually not weak, almost reaching the limit for someone without a Breathing Style. But unfortunately, his opponent could not be judged by ordinary standards.
Seiichi nodded and then turned to leave.
A cheer erupted from the silent crowd. This meant that Sword Saint Seiichi had conquered another city, and this might be the last one.
This person was already invincible in the world!
The Butterfly Estate seemed to be in Kyoto. Before leaving, I should go see my old friends.
Seiichi ignored the crowd behind him and instantly vanished.
