Chapter 153 - Ch.153 Review

"Now it seems Phantylia was the mastermind behind it all. In Xianzhou history, the Antimatter Legion has clashed with the Alliance before, so we've always stayed vigilant of their troop movements."

"But no one foresaw their attack coming in some more covert form."

Fu Xuan's expression grew grave: "The Lord Ravager disguised herself and infiltrated, scheming to hand the Stellaron Core to the Medicine King's Secret, sparking rebellion to lure the Luofu into self-destruction."

"We clearly need to reassess the Legion's threat level."

Stelle flipped through ancient texts on the Medicine King's Secret. "Tell us more about the Medicine King's Secret?"

"Since the Ambrosial Arbor was severed by the Reignbow Arbiter thousands of years ago, Abundance became taboo. The Alchemy Commission, once masters of so-called Immortality, fell into decline, becoming a barely functional department."

"From that moment, the seeds of the Medicine King's Secret chaos were sown… Some among them, desperate, sought aid from the Antimatter Legion—even a Stellaron Core—to revive the Abundance miracle."

Fu Xuan snorted coldly. "Hmph… They succeeded, but was Phantylia's goal to help fulfill their wishes? These traitors sold out the Xianzhou, only to become sacrifices for the Lord Ravager's plan."

"As for the Stellaron Hunters, we know just as little. But in the Matrix of Prescience, I saw Kafka receiving a prophecy from the 'Slave of Fate.' Elio foresaw Luofu's myriad possibilities…"

"Based on Kafka's intel, this possibility—though controlled by Elio—was truly the most favorable future for the Luofu. The Stellaron Hunters walked into the trap themselves, drawing allies to the Xianzhou… namely, you all."

Across the entire Luofu, the only surprise for Fu Xuan was Adrian's presence. Who'd think an Aeon could be summoned?

No, actually—HE'd settled on the Luofu long ago, and Jing Yuan had kept it from her.

"Though self-serving, the intent was good. Now that future is real… The Xianzhou uncovered the Legion's plot and, with your help, sent Phantylia fleeing in defeat."

Stelle pondered: "We've got enough intel already…"

"Known info suffices, logic holds—but some minor loose ends remain. Like how the Stellaron Core reached the Xianzhou? And who delivered it to Scalegorge Waterscape?"

"How many Medicine King remnants escaped purge? We can't know, but we've done our best." Fu Xuan looked to the group, hoping the Luofu wouldn't attract such trouble again.

A single Stellaron Core alone wouldn't have pulled in the Church of Eternity and Astral Express—both top-tier do-gooders in the cosmos.

Antimatter Legion, Medicine King's Secret, Stellaron Hunters—even the Vidyadhara Dragon Lord tangled in it, plus the Ambrosial Arbor's rebirth… Troubles piled like immortals' woes.

"For the Alliance report, I have plans. Your parts won't be shortchanged, but for Jing Yuan and that one's sake, Xianzhou internal affairs… I'll omit your names. Forgive me."

On second thought, Adrian's name didn't matter—the general and marshal knew. Only the Reignbow Arbiter could converse with HIM as an equal.

"I was about to request that, Master Diviner. Ambrosial Arbor rebirth—Alliance won't overlook it, likely auditing every link." Welt said.

"More trouble than worth. If the Astral Express gets entangled, departure would drag."

Fu Xuan empathized. "Yes, Jing Yuan's violations this time are plenty—I'll handle them one by one… Sigh~ Cloud Knight generals are all such headaches."

If she became general smoothly, no such messes.

After sorting intel with Fu Xuan, she left first. The stern post-lesson review ended.

Stelle approached Qingque, chatting about the last undercover op.

"So, what'll you do with the Ambrosial Arbor?"

"What to do… Thousands of years ago, the Xianzhou Alliance was helpless against it. Thousands later, same story."

"Ambrosial Arbor rebirth—nothing but the Reignbow's light arrow can harm its core." Qingque replied.

"Vidyadhara power might suppress it… But with their internal tangles, resolution's unlikely."

Stelle rubbed her forehead. "Oh~ This damn Abundance miracle!"

"If we locate the Stellaron Core buried deep in the Arbor, the Express might help."

March 7th nodded. Worst case, haul in Adrian—though HE'd likely slack off.

"Mr. Welt, your goodwill is appreciated. But Ambrosial Arbor matters… such grand affairs need the Six Charioteers' consensus."

"Speaking of, Master Diviner handles it like a pro… No wonder she eyes the general's seat—full of drive!"

Qingque's lip twitched. "Haha… Let her grind here twenty or thirty years first."

"Becoming general's no easy feat. Battlefield command's the smallest part. Dealing with Luofu's Six Charioteers, Ten-Lords Commission audits, Alliance high-level games…"

"These daily negotiations no one wants—but must endure—are the real thorns making the general's seat unbearable."

If Fu Xuan overheard, trouble—Qingque switched topics. "Almost forgot, gotta gather intel and draft docs for the Master Diviner. Carry on."

"Ah, office work…" Stelle suddenly felt Nameless was her best choice ever.

"Didn't expect us stumbling through, becoming Luofu's heroes. Feels unreal—accomplished so much so easily."

March 7th hands on hips. Was this Luofu trip ending just like that…

Stelle turned pessimist. "March, we were just Stellaron Hunter puppets."

"Pfft pfft! Good deeds are ours—won't credit those creeps!" March 7th had her view.

"Seems manipulated by Stellaron Hunters, but we made that future real. No matter their skill, they can't force a non-existent one."

"Many saved by our arrival—Luofu spared disaster. If fate decreed this good, who cares who sparked it? Be happy!"

Mid-say, March 7th pulled a milk tea. Stelle's eyes widened. "Wait… where'd that come from?"

"Hehe~ Magical six-phase ice, of course! Unlike regular ice, it barely melts, expands/contracts, no toxins—perfect for storing milk tea!"

Yeah, six-phase ice even medical-grade: seal wounds, halt worsening—home or travel essential.

Best: free, no cost. Cosmos' bargain—IPC's blind, total fools!

"Speaking of milk tea… Hmm, wonder what Adrian's up to."
