Chapter 5: Training in the Room of Time!
The next day.
After saying goodbye to Gohan and Goten yesterday, as soon as he returned home, Trunks was dragged by Vegeta into a sparring match.

But he suddenly stopped and looked in a certain direction.
There, in the sky, Trunks appeared, flying toward them at great speed.
"Piccolo-san, Dende-san, Mr. Popo..."
As soon as his feet touched the ground of the Lookout, Trunks suppressed his aura and ki, and went to greet them.
"Oh, Trunks... what brings you here today?"
"I heard that there is a Time Room in the Lookout, where one day inside equals a whole year..."
"That's correct... but do you want to train inside it?"
"Not for long... just until I get used to Super Saiyan 2."

Piccolo was completely shocked.
"Trunks, did you evolve into Super Saiyan 2?"

But Trunks simply nodded, bid farewell to Dende and Piccolo, and followed Mr. Popo to the Time Room.

Upon entering the Time Room, Trunks found a small chamber on the side.
There was a toilet, a large fridge full of food, and a simple bed.
Trunks nodded and leapt into the vast white training space.
He immediately felt his body becoming heavier due to the multiplied gravity, and the air itself felt thicker.
"Alright, I'll stay here for one year... and during this time, I must master control over my power and Super Saiyan strength."
Trunks ordered the system to use the Advancement Card for Super Saiyan 3.
"Haaaaaaa!"
With a thunderous scream, Trunks' power began skyrocketing insanely, just like when he ascended to Super Saiyan 2.
Golden ki energy surged into the sky, forming a shining golden pillar that split the heavens.
The dimension trembled, and Trunks' aura leaked out of the Time Room.
Even though it was a separate dimension, some fighters like Vegeta could still sense Trunks' energy.
But they couldn't tell it was his, nor why it felt faint, as if it barely existed.
As for Trunks, he was smiling with joy and excitement, feeling his power rise as he neared the breakthrough into Super Saiyan 3.
After some time, the aura around him grew stronger, his golden hair became longer and more spiked.
His eyes, which were a light green, now had a dark green center.
His entire body radiated an overwhelmingly dominant aura, terrifying in its intensity.
"So this is Super Saiyan 3."
Trunks looked at his hands with a strange calm, throwing a few powerful punches.
"It seems I'm only at the intermediate level of Super Saiyan 3... but I feel I can now control Super Saiyan 2's power with ease."
Thinking this, Trunks smiled and began training in his Super Saiyan 3 form for a while.

Elsewhere, Vegeta was meditating, ignoring Bulma's nagging about treating Trunks more kindly.
Suddenly, Vegeta opened his eyes and focused in a certain direction.
Bulma glared at him, angry that he was ignoring her.
"Whose aura is this... it's increasing rapidly in such a strange way."
Vegeta closed his eyes again, focusing on that aura, trying to locate it.
But he was shocked as he felt the aura evolving at a crazy pace, and after a while, its growth stopped, and it slowly faded.
"Could it be Kakarot in the Other World..."
Thinking this, Vegeta grew furious and immediately rushed to the Gravity Room to train.
"That fool... I want to crush him!"

In the Other World, on King Kai's planet.
Goku was training, throwing rapid punches and kicks into the air while wearing massive weighted gear.
"Goku, how about letting Gohan bring us back using the Dragon Balls?"
"King Kai... I don't want that, I'd rather keep training with you here."
"But didn't you already reach a new form called Super Saiyan 3? Why do you still want to train?"
King Kai glared angrily at Goku, who had refused to revive him.
That was also why King Kai himself hadn't been revived.
"Goku, listen to me—..."
"This energy... it's at the same level as Super Saiyan 3!"
Both Goku and King Kai fell silent when they sensed the strong aura of Super Saiyan 3.
"But why does it feel small and weak..."

Piccolo sighed, feeling that the new generation would soon leave him behind.
