Chapter 28: The Good Majin Buu!

Some time after Majin Buu was defeated by Trunks.
While Trunks was talking with Goku, Gohan, and the others in the Kaioshin Realm.
[Ding. Final Majin Buu has been defeated!]
[Majin Buu's skills and abilities obtained!]
[Power-doubling card obtained!]
[Evil Majin Buu's spirit separated from Majin Buu!]
Suddenly, while Vegeta was smiling proudly at his son Trunks.
And while Goku was asking Trunks how he reached Super Saiyan 4.
BOOOOM!
A massive energy explosion occurred, and when everyone turned in panic,
they saw Majin Buu.
"H-how is he not dead?!" the Supreme Kai shouted in fear.
Everyone stared silently at Majin Buu.
"This isn't Majin Buu… his ki is good, and besides, he's fat!" Trunks said indifferently.
He slowly approached Majin Buu, who looked at him curiously.
"Are you the one who defeated my evil half?" Majin Buu asked.
"Yes… I avoided destroying you with him." Trunks said, shocking everyone.
How did he know there was another person inside Majin Buu?
How did he know he was good? And how was he able to destroy only his evil half?
"Thank you…" Majin Buu didn't know what else to do, so he thanked Trunks and then sat on the ground silently.
"It doesn't look like you have anywhere to go. Do you want to live on Earth?" Trunks asked while extending his hand to Majin Buu.
Majin Buu knew Trunks' power.
He instinctively felt that if he refused or resisted Trunks in any way, he would die. Probably.
He reached out, grabbed Trunks' hand, stood up, and began following him.
Trunks approached Goku and the others.
"Well… it's over, let's go home!" Goten smiled and shouted happily while jumping.
"Haha… alright, Kaioshins, see you later!" Trunks waved to the three Kaioshins and used Instant Transmission to teleport himself, Majin Buu, and Goten away.
"Wait, Trunks…" Gohan shouted, but Trunks had already disappeared.
"...."
Everyone was silent now.
Defeating a villain with overwhelming power and recruiting him to your side in the same day.
Even Goku hadn't done that.
"Let's go, Kakarot… or do you want the kids to surpass you?" Vegeta placed his hand on Goku's shoulder as he spoke.
Both Goku and Vegeta wanted to return to Earth immediately and start serious training.
"Of course not… let's go, Piccolo, Gohan!" Goku replied after a moment, then used Instant Transmission, and everyone returned to Earth.
"The Saiyans are terrifying…" Supreme Kai Shin whispered while swallowing hard.
All the Kaioshins were relieved that these Saiyans weren't evil.

Days later, at Earth's Champion Hercule's mansion.
Trunks sat quietly on a luxurious sofa, with Majin Buu beside him, silently.
Not out of fear of Trunks, but because he was eating a mountain of sweets.
"Hello kid… Videl told me about you, so I decided to meet you. But I hope you won't waste my time."
The mansion's owner and Earth's fake champion entered the room.
He had stolen Goku and the others' achievements and claimed them as his own, declaring himself the Champion of Earth.
Hercule entered the room, sat in a relaxed position, lit a cigarette, and started smoking comfortably.
"...."
Does this old man want to be beaten to death?
Trunks stared at him silently for a while, then sighed:
"Hercule… you will do what I tell you, or I won't mind killing you after exposing your fake heroics."
Trunks said this trying to sound cold.
It had a strong effect because, in a single moment,
Hercule was already kneeling before Trunks in fear.
"Please, no… I saw you didn't announce yourselves as the ones who defeated Cell. So I took the opportunity.
I'm really sorry, forgive me, I'll give you whatever you want."
Hercule had personally seen Trunks and Goten use Super Saiyan during the tournament.
Even though they didn't fight and left the ring,
Hercule still remembered the power of Super Saiyan they displayed during Cell's battle.
"Alright, stop this… I won't hurt you since your daughter is Gohan-san's friend." Trunks said this, waving dismissively and forgiving him.
"Videl, you're a wonderful daughter…" Hercule thanked his daughter in his heart, then stood before Trunks.
"So, Mister Trunks… what do you want from me?" Hercule asked hesitantly.
"Nothing… I just wanted you to keep this guy as your bodyguard or whatever."
After Trunks said this, Hercule made a strange expression.
So Trunks briefly explained Majin Buu's identity and everything about him.
"T-T-Trunks-kun… he won't kill me, right?" Hercule gulped and asked fearfully while trembling.
"No, I told him not to kill any humans… but if you anger him, he might kill you."
After saying this, Trunks stood up.
He felt Hercule would become Buu's friend, just like in the original story.
So there was no need to tell him what to do.
"Goodbye, Buu… goodbye, Hercule-san." Trunks waved, then used Instant Transmission and disappeared.
"...."
Oh my God, thank you. I almost made that monster angry!
Hercule thought, then turned to Majin Buu and started introducing himself to him.

At Bulma's mansion.
Trunks suddenly appeared in front of Vegeta, who was training in the underground Gravity Room.
"Trunks!" Vegeta looked curiously at him as if asking what he wanted.
Outside the Gravity Room, Bulma was watching Vegeta's training through the glass.
"Oh Trunks… didn't you go to meet Videl's father?" Bulma asked.
"Yes, Mom… and Hercule-san agreed to keep Majin Buu as his bodyguard." Trunks said with a smile.
"Hmph. What do you want?" Vegeta said while resuming his training.
Remembering Trunks' Super Saiyan 4 made him want to become stronger and stronger.
"I want you to allow me to leave Earth for a while…" Trunks said, and as soon as Bulma heard that, she frowned.
"Trunks, forget it, I won't allow you…" she said firmly.
"But Mom…" Trunks looked at Bulma with puppy eyes.
"Don't even try, no means no!"
"...."
"Please… I want to get stronger and go on a journey through space." Trunks begged his mother.
"Fine, Bulma, let him go… he can return anytime using Instant Transmission.
Besides, Trunks is so strong that no one in the universe can defeat him right now." Vegeta said after a while.
"Sigh… fine, I agree, but you must come back once every month."
"Understood, Mom…" Trunks smiled, hugged Bulma for a while, waved to Vegeta, and disappeared.
"Well, I have many things I need to do…" Trunks thought this as he appeared in the Kaioshin Realm.
He had thought of a training plan that would make him stronger in 4 years.
A training that would prepare him better for the beginning of Dragon Ball Super and the arrival of the God of Destruction, Beerus, on Earth.
And the beginning of this plan was to defeat the Kaioshins, to obtain their divine ki, and train with it for a while.
"This is where my journey to become the strongest begins…" Trunks said sarcastically, laughing at himself.

My ideas for the second volume will be Trunks' journey with Goten and training together.
I might also have him meet Broly and other characters along the way.
