Day 8. Three days before.
The sneakiness goes into overdrive.
Staff members scurry around like they're training for an Olympic speed-walking event.
Packages arrive constantly.
The delivery guy is starting to ask questions.
"Wedding?" he asks, hauling in the seventh box of fairy lights.
"No."
"Funeral?"
"What? No."
"Then what requires seventeen boxes of lights and fifty balloons?"
Soorin, signing for the package: "Birthday party."
"Must be some party."
"You have no idea."
The members are somehow even worse at subterfuge than the staff.
Which is impressive, considering.
They go silent whenever Haejin enters a room.
They make up the most ridiculous excuses for leaving.
Doyun literally says "I have to water my fish" and walks away.
Haejin stares after him. "Fish don't need watering."
"Maybe they're special fish," Jisoo offers weakly.
"What kind of special?"
"The... water... kind?"
Even Jisoo looks ashamed of that one.
Minjae's not much better.
