Chapter 476 - First Impressions Tells Alot

They went in at the eleven-minute mark.

The studio was tighter than the waiting area. Six chairs arranged in a loose semicircle, microphones on adjustable arms, the kind of setup that was designed to feel relaxed without actually being relaxed at all. The overhead lighting was warm and even. The on-air countdown was visible from every seat.

Yuki was already sitting across from where the members would be, going over something on her card. She looked up when they came in and put the card down.

The members settled into the formation they always found without anyone directing it. Haejin at the center, Doyun and Taekyung on one side, Minjae and Jisoo on the other. Six years of this and it happened on its own.

Soorin and Daehyun settled into the observation area behind the glass.

The countdown hit zero.

The on-air light went red.

Yuki's whole presence shifted by a few degrees, smooth and practiced, the kind of shift that only happened after years of doing this.
