Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: A Demon in Teen Wolf

A/N: Hey guys, just a quick note! The cemetery where Davyd was reborn is a different one from the one you've seen in the show (you know, the one where Derek turned Isaac and a bunch of other stuff happened). This little cemetery in the Beacon Hills Preserve is a spot I made up for my character's story, so it's a new location just for this fanfic!

Derek growled, the sound muffled and rough. With a sharp pain, he used his hand to push his own jaw back into place, the dry crack echoing in the air.

He won't stop. I need more power Derek thought.

Suddenly, the rage in his blue eyes intensified. His muscles swelled, tearing his shirt into rags. Thick, dark hair began spreading across his face and neck, forming a dense beard. His nails grew longer and hardened into sharp claws, and his teeth turned into fangs. The aura around him became more violent. That of a beast.

Davyd spun the heavy, rusty chain several times in the air. He didn't wait, attacking first. The werewolf, now faster and stronger, dodged the attack with agility.

SWOOSH!

The chain grazed his shoulder, the cold breeze of the metal serving as a warning. His claws slashed the air where Davyd had been just seconds before.

The demon stepped back, pulling the chain before launching it again, this time in an upward arc.

THUD!

It struck Derek's arm with a dull impact, but the werewolf's thick skin resisted… barely.

Damn... it's going to be tricky to get close to him.

Derek lunged forward, his eyes locked on Davyd, ready to tear him apart. With a swift movement, Davyd used the chain as a hook, wrapping it around Derek's left ankle and pulling him to the ground.

This house is too small… The show needs more space! Davyd thought with a goofy grin.

With a powerful swing, Davyd pulled Derek with all his strength and hurled him toward the front door, shouting:

"GOODBYE, PUPPY! SEE YOU AROUND!"

Shit! That was the last thing Derek thought before being thrown through the air.

CRACK!

The force of the throw was so great the chain couldn't withstand it. The sound of metal stretching and snapping in two echoed. One part of the chain was still wrapped around Derek's ankle, while the other remained in Davyd's hand.

Outside, the silence of the forest shattered. The front door of the old house exploded into pieces. A body wrapped in metal chains flew through the air, slammed against a tree, and crashed to the ground. The sound of breaking branches and Derek's howl of pain echoed through the dark forest.

Looking at what was left of the chain in his hand, Davyd let out a low chuckle.

"Heh... guess I don't need you anymore. It's a miracle you lasted this long."

Tossing the rest of the chain aside, Davyd walked out the front door of the house, or what was left of it. With a wry smile, he headed into the darkness of the forest, following the path of destruction.

Then he suddenly stopped. The grin on his face faded slightly because of the new scent that invaded the air.

It's the same wet dog smell, but this one is stronger, he narrowed his eyes and muttered, "with a brutal, primal intensity..."

At the same time, Derek, still trying to stand, felt the same. The howl of fury he was about to unleash died in his throat, replaced by a growl of caution.

Both men stared at a dark spot in the forest. The only sound in the night was the rustling of the leaves. Between the trees, two glowing eyes appeared. They weren't like Derek's blue eyes, but a pair of blood-red orbs that shone with cruel intensity.

"..."

Silence fell over the place. Davyd and Derek, each with opposite emotions, froze, their eyes fixed on those red orbs. Davyd's arrogant smile returned, wider and more manic than ever. Even not at his peak, he felt pure excitement for a good fight.

"A alpha," Derek muttered with a mix of rage, confusion, and shock. Barely breathing after being tossed like a ragdoll, he steadied his breath, then went fully on guard.

Just by looking into those red eyes, Derek felt a strong sense of submission. But pride, even wounded, held him back. He clenched his teeth, defying the feeling.

Then he glanced at Davyd and froze for a moment. Why the hell is he smiling like that? Quickly regaining composure, he looked back at the alpha.

The alpha stood in the darkness. Suddenly, the clouds slowly parted, and the moonlight bathed the forest, revealing the alpha.

It wasn't a man, but a massive creature covered in dark fur. Its muscles were defined, and it stood upright on two paws. Its head was that of a wolf, and its red eyes glowed with burning intensity.

Although Davyd and Derek had already glimpsed the alpha's form in the shadows, now, under the moonlight, its massive outline became brutally sharper.

"Haha~... so all those screams of a beaten dog were actually to call your little friend, huh?" Davyd taunted, but he knew there was no friendly bond between Derek and that creature, especially because Derek looked ready to fight it at any moment.

"..." Derek remained silent, letting Davyd say whatever he wanted while his full attention was on the Alpha.

"If you're trying to scare someone, try somewhere else, pal," Davyd said with a relaxed stance.

The creature only growled in irritation, but didn't move.

That passiveness made Davyd curious, especially when he noticed the anxiety radiating from Derek.

Hmm... why's he just standing there? Is he waiting for something...? Davyd wondered, confused by the creature's behavior.

Then, suddenly—

ROOOOOOOOOOOAR!!!!
