Listening to the busy signal on the phone, Zhang Jie, Yin Yang, Jensen, and Caesar exchanged glances. They had all heard the electric shock sound coming from the phone.
The four of them weren't stupid; they knew the guy on the other end of the line was in trouble.
"Naples?"
"Let's go!"
All four of them became a little excited.
They had already heard something different in the phone's voice, and wasn't that exactly what they wanted?
If you're going to do this, we're not sleepy anymore.
And so, the four of them hastily hailed another car and rushed towards the docks, carrying their tool bags.
On the other side, Michael, Sophia, and Kincaid were all arrested by Crossbones...Pooh, Interpol's Bobby.
Because Kincaid and his group had killed his informant Carlo in Italy, all leads were cut off, and in his uncontrollable rage, he could only force Kincaid and his group to complete the mission.
When the black bags were removed from their heads, they saw the rather tough-looking man clearly.
"Hey! You three listen to me. Thanks to you, my informant was killed. Now you... need to take on my informant's job!"
Bobby stood with his hands on his hips, looking at the three. Behind them stood Bobby's subordinates, all standing still.
"No! Absolutely not! I'm on vacation recuperating! I will never touch a gun, never. And I'm not familiar with them."
Michael was making his last stand.
Bobby, hearing this, immediately gave Michael a punch, and Michael was almost dazed from the blow.
Then Bobby looked at the three, his tone unfriendly, "Don't think I don't know what you all do!"
"A useless bodyguard who can't even protect his target from being killed, and who dared to operate without a license a few days ago?"
Bobby unhesitatingly spewed, "And you dare to call yourself 3A-rated?"
Then he looked at Sophia, who was sitting in the middle, "And you're just a con artist, and you, Kincaid, you escaped from an international prison. If you don't want me to send you back, it's best to cooperate with me."
Bobby looked at the three, throwing his hands up, "As long as you help me handle this matter, I can also work something out for your situations. How about it? A win-win."
Kincaid grinned. This was good; then he wouldn't be wanted anymore.
Sophia, however, looked at Bobby and said, "Are you sure?"
Bobby was about to answer when his phone rang. He saw it was the director calling and quickly answered, "Director."
"There was a robbery just now, likely related to Aristotle."
The director's words made Bobby understand.
"Understood, I'll investigate."
After speaking, Bobby walked back, looking at the three, who could only nod.
"Very good," he said, motioning for the translator to bring over a box of money. "I'm giving you a box of money now to complete the transaction. If you don't understand what she's saying, then you'll just have to deal with it!"
The translator opened the aluminum alloy case, saying as she opened it, "Employing Kincaid is against regulations!"
"What?" Bobby was truly at a loss; the translator's English was not standard at all, and he had to guess for a long time every time she spoke.
"You: fist Kincaid: ry hole? (You plan to patronize Kincaid's special service window?)"
When Bobby said this, he was even a bit bewildered, mixed with some horror.
Sophia immediately interjected, "Hey! No one can disparage Kincaid's special service window!"
Sophia then proudly added, "That's my job."
Kincaid next to her was full of question marks. What kind of bizarre conversation was this?
Is my sacred little chrysanthemum gone just like that?
Michael said with a look of disgust, "I don't think anyone should have that job."
Bobby immediately waved his hand to interrupt this bizarre conversation; he felt that if it continued, the story's development would become strange.
"Listen, this is your operating fund!" Bobby pointed to the one hundred thousand usd in the box. "If even a penny goes missing, or if anyone tries to abscond with the money, I will issue a global red notice to find you scoundrels!"
[Note: A global red notice is Interpol's highest level of wanted notice.]
"Oh, no! I hate red notices!" Michael said with a look of disgust. This thing was very bad for him; it affected his future.
Bobby then pulled out a dedicated phone and placed it in Michael's hand. Michael looked bewildered, "What are you doing? What is this?"
"Nokia," Bobby said.
Michael looked even more disgusted, "Nokia? I won't use such an antique!"
Seeing Michael about to start chattering, Bobby immediately stopped him, "Look at me, look at me!"
"I am looking!"
"Look at me!"
"I am looking!!" Michael was almost going crazy. What was wrong?
Bobby looked directly into Michael's eyes, "You need to maintain close contact with me at all times, understand?"
"I understand!" Michael said, "Isn't it just a series of deadly calls!"
"Shut up!"
Bobby stopped Michael again, "I call, you answer, understand?"
Then Bobby walked to Sophia, "And you, without any resources..."
Bobby placed a set of car keys in Sophia's palm, "I hope you enjoy your transportation."
Then he placed the suitcase containing the money next to Kincaid and said again in a serious tone, "Don't mess it up!"
To this, Michael sarcastically retorted, "Well, thank you for thinking so highly of us."
Then, he pointed with his cuffed hands at Sophia and Kincaid, "Look, you're entrusting such an important mission to me and these two. How desperate are you?"
"For such an important matter, for the three of us to do it, the probability of success is almost zero! You might as well hire a brain-damaged cat; the success rate would be higher."
Bobby, however, turned around directly, no longer paying attention to Michael's chatter.
Kincaid, on the other hand, burst out laughing, "Honeymoon's over."
Sophia, who had been staring expressionlessly at Bobby as he left, suddenly screamed in a frenzy, immediately silencing Kincaid and Michael.
Damn honeymoon!
Damn Kincaid!
Damn mission!
You ruined the honeymoon I had meticulously prepared and looked forward to for months!
Kincaid, meanwhile, picked up the box, looking cheerful; no one knew what he was thinking.
Michael scrutinized this odd combination. Before, with Kincaid and Zhang Jie, at least Zhang Jie was reliable. Now, it's a direct increase in difficulty!
Sophia was even more unreliable than Kincaid, which was why Michael had no confidence in this mission.
However, Michael quickly remembered that Zhang Jie was already in Europe. They had missed him earlier because of the chase, so he needed to contact Zhang Jie quickly, otherwise, relying on these two clowns, he feared he wouldn't survive another day.
Michael watched Bobby leave with his subordinates, then immediately picked up his phone and dialed a number.
