Chapter 212 - Chapter 212 Investigation

Giana watched the video carefully, viewing it from every angle.

Soon, she discovered that the moment her damned brother Santino fell to the ground, the gold coin in his hand rolled away.

Finally, from a tricky angle in one of the videos, she saw the direction the coin rolled: directly towards Zhang Jie, who was sitting nearby. And that guy actually just lightly lifted his foot and stepped on the coin that had rolled to his feet.

Immediately after, she saw this guy pretend to tie his shoelaces and pick up the gold coin.

"Something is definitely wrong." Giana frowned slightly.

Mr. Song, standing by, thought to himself, 'This is bad. I can't believe I overlooked this video.' And because Zhang Jie's movements were too subtle, if you weren't paying close attention, you wouldn't have noticed this detail at all.

Giana saw all of this.

"So this is John's new apprentice. He seems interesting." After getting the results she wanted, Giana left.

She took that surveillance video with her.

After Giana left, Mr. Song called John.

Unfortunately, there was no answer.

Listening to the busy signal on the phone, Mr. Song felt a bit numb. He muttered to himself, "This time, it seems like there's real trouble."

Even he hadn't noticed that day that the gold coin had been picked up by that scoundrel Zhang Jie. Now, it's all exposed in the video.

Perhaps a storm was about to unfold in New York.

All of this happened when Zhang Jie and his team had just arrived in Italy.

On the other side, Zhang Jie and the other three were chasing the minivan in front of them.

Zhang Jie was driving, while the other three sat steadily in the car. The people in the minivan clearly knew that there was an extremely fierce guy in the pursuing vehicle, so they kept making sharp turns, trying to evade the chase.

The car Zhang Jie had stolen wasn't a good one either; it accelerated extremely slowly, so for a while, they couldn't catch up to the people in front.

Thus, the chase continued for quite a while.

They left the city and gradually approached the coast.

Although there was more space, the opponent's car had bulletproof extensions, and several shots failed to penetrate their bulletproof glass.

Russell was also extremely nervous; being targeted by the Sacrifice Squad was not a pleasant experience.

He was already thinking about how to get rid of the guys behind him.

"Damn it, drive faster!" Russell roared at the guy who was driving.

And that damned Lisa!

She actually dared to give him false information, causing him such a huge loss. He even had a premonition that no more than 3 of these squad members would return alive tonight.

At this moment, he could only hope the car behind them would run out of gas soon.

"Damn it, that crappy minivan is as hard as a turtle shell!" Caesar, who had leaned out and fired several shots, also complained.

Russell was very glad that he had heavily modified this minivan when he bought it, adding armor similar to military armored vehicles. At this moment, it saved his life.

He could naturally hear the explosions outside the car and feel the strong vibrations, but fortunately, the armor was not penetrated.

"They're like turtles hiding in their shells, not even fighting back." Even Jensen couldn't help but complain.

They couldn't catch up, and they couldn't take them down.

This made Zhang Jie very annoyed.

However, the four of them had limited weapons and no way to deal with the iron turtle shell in front.

But things are never that simple. Zhang Jie, who was chasing the minivan in front, saw vehicles pursuing them from behind in his rearview mirror.

This was very abnormal.

When they were chasing the minivan earlier, they were driving very fast, leaving all other cars behind. And when they entered this section by the sea, there were even fewer vehicles.

But now, vehicles were actually catching up from behind. Zhang Jie keenly noticed something was wrong.

"Watch out behind us."

Zhang Jie immediately gave a warning. Yin Yang immediately turned around and looked out the rear window. Through the streetlights, he could see several motorcycles and a few cars rapidly approaching from behind.

"They're coming for us!" Yin Yang was very certain.

"It seems the appetizer is over." A dangerous glint appeared in Jensen's eyes. He immediately turned around, rolled down the rear window, leaned out, and started Shooting at those motorcycles.

The people behind, seeing him proactively attack, became even more enraged and immediately started to return fire.

Jensen's sudden action stunned the other three people in the car. 'You suddenly opened fire, and we weren't prepared at all!'

Caesar continued to focus on the people in front; if they dared to show their heads, he would instantly take them down. Yin Yang, on the other hand, rolled down the window on the other side, stretched out his hand, and began to exchange fire with the opponents.

The most uncomfortable person right now was Zhang Jie. He could only keep swerving the car, preventing all of the enemy's firepower from being concentrated on their vehicle.

After all, this car was just an ordinary sedan and didn't have very good bulletproof capabilities.

Subsequently, Zhang Jie drove the car directly to another intersection, attempting to shake off the pursuers behind them.

At this moment, Jensen shot down one of the guys on a motorcycle behind them. Instantly, the motorcycle lost control, and the rider was quickly caught under the wheels of the cars catching up behind.

And after that motorcycle lost balance and fell, it was also hit by another car and exploded into flames.

The cars behind also sped up to catch them, opening fire even before getting close.

However, fortunately, Zhang Jie turned into another lane in time.

"Damn it, where did these people come from?" Zhang Jie looked utterly bewildered.

They were in the middle of chasing someone, and suddenly they were being chased by another group of people. This feeling was not good at all.

Meanwhile, Giana, already at the Italian Mafia headquarters, took the file her assistant handed her. "Is everything here?"

"Yes, all his information is here, but there's one piece of information that needs special attention," the subordinate who handed her the file reminded her.

"Hmm?"

Giana opened the file and read it carefully. Everything seemed normal; he was just an ordinary, unremarkable man.

However, a detail soon caught her attention.

"Hmm? Killer's Home?" Giana was somewhat incredulous.

She hadn't expected this Asian kid to be so lucky as to live in the Killer's Home. But as she continued to flip through the material, she became speechless, because this guy had actually lived in the Killer's Home for several years.

And the last piece of information was that her brother, Santino, had also investigated Zhang Jie and had also found the Killer's Home.

"Immediately order everyone chasing him to withdraw, Now!"

Giana genuinely felt this was tricky.

The Killer's Home was considered a forbidden existence in the entire underground world. Living in the Killer's Home was a great honor for all assassins, but no one had ever stayed in the Killer's Home for more than a month.

And this guy had actually lived in the Killer's Home for several years.

Damn it!

However, one line of information in the file did catch Giana's attention: a woman named Lisa had approached Zhang Jie for a period of time.

Giana paused when she saw the photo.

Then a smile played on her lips.

"So it was you."
