In another dungeon.
A world just as dry, hollow, and oppressive as the one Bruce and Sophie were fighting through, yet somehow far more suffocating. The land was cracked and lifeless, the sky above frozen in a permanent state of decay, mana flowing sluggishly as if even the world itself had given up resisting.
At the boss region of this dungeon, two silhouettes stood in silence.
One was massive, towering, broad-shouldered, muscles layered and dense beneath glistening red skin. He stood nearly two and a half meters tall, his presence alone warping the air around him. The other was slimmer, leaner, standing slightly over two meters, his posture reserved but no less dangerous.
Both bore horns.
Curved, jagged structures protruded from their heads, unmistakable markers of their race.
Demons.
