"Why are you so weird?"
"Y'know, you are the most annoying person I've ever known in my life."
"Go home, tell your mom to get rid of this abortion of an elf. Haha! Let's go boys!"
Memories of Lucia being mocked flashed through her brain as she laid on the ground barely conscious.
"I see, no matter how many times I act like I don't care, these will still be the memories I remember in the end. My life really is boring isn't it?"she smiled as the thought emerged into her mind.
Suddenly, a blurry image of Fynnis's face appeared in her memories.
"Sheesh, what's wrong with me? I barely even know him! Haha…but, maybe all my life, all I ever yearned for was someone who would do all the stupid stuff with me."she thought as her eyelids slowly fell.
"Lucia!!" Fynnis desperately shook her shoulders, trying to wake her.
"Aww, what a lovely bond you have, now if you excuse me…" the ring fell into the shadow and dropped on the man's hand. "I'll be on my way now."he mocked and walked away.
"You freaking old hag…"
"Hm?"
"Is this entertaining for you? You felt no guilt or any remorse for attempting to murder someone, you're a freaking sadist that's what. People like you, should just slit your own throat and die in the depths of hell!"he furiously shout at the man, tears uncontrollably flowing from his eyes.
"Heh, you kids seem to not understand one thing, I am from the deepest depths of hell."his tone dropped. Suddenly, the entire atmosphere changed, like it listens to the actions of the man. It stunned Fynnis.
"And you…" he chuckled and walked over and squatted down in front of Fynnis. "Oh…you are just a mere mortal who somehow stumbled upon the great opportunity to be a god. Without the ring, what are you? Without anyone who's able to beat me, what am I to not do what I want to do, hm? You tell me."he grabbed Fynnis's hair and shook his head like a toy.
Suddenly, Fynnis smacked away the man's hand and glared at him, not a single word came out from his mouth, just a silence stare down.
"Maltous…"
"Mal-who?"
"MALTOUS!!! ATTACK!!!"
In a blink of a second, a giant shadow flew on top of him. A loud screech sounded, and Maltous dived down, opened up his mouth, swirling his tongue and bit the man in one fluid motion. Then proceed to spit out the ring.
Seeing this, Fynnis exhaled in relief and carried Lucia over to Maltous.
"Maltous, Lucia is severely injured, can you help me bring her somewhere?"
"Where are you bringing her?"the man unexpectedly appeared next to him and snatched the ring from the ground.
"Wha-"
Without missing a beat, Maltous leaped towards the man and tried to bite him. The man smirked and dodged the attack. Furious, Maltous continuously attacked the man but he dodged all of it swiftly. Then he jumped onto the top of a building.
"Alright, I'm just wasting my time right now, no more tricks, I'll just kill you one by one."he threatened.
Suddenly, an arrow seemingly made of water flew straight towards the man who was barely able to dodge it.
"Then shall I do the same to you?"a mysterious voice came from on top of another building. It was a man with water weirdly float on his body with shining eyes, just like a god.
Seeing the opportunity, Fynnis quickly carried Lucia and jumped onto Maltous's back and told him to fly as fast as he could.
After they took off, the man was left standing down with a mysterious person.
"Long time no see huh? Montell."
"Zellereve, you're not getting away this time."he stretched his bow and pointed at the man.
"Oh you sure, I mean even in this form, I still have the upper hand against you, you know that right?"he warned.
"I didn't come alone." Montell said as 3 silhouettes shone down from the clouds.
"Tsk, well then. I guess I'll just wait for next time, when I get the chance to take your rings too."he provoked them and laughed. In an instance, shadow grew out of his feet rapidly like liquid tar and he sank into it.
"Hey! Stop!" Montell tried to grab him but he was already gone without a trace.
"Damn it!"

"Ugh…it's…so bright…where am I…?"
As Lucia open her eyes, a white bright light shone into her eyes.
"I'm not familiar with this place…ugh…my arm hurts. Hm?"she thought as she weakly tilted her head to see her injured arm bandaged.
"Was I treated? Where's Fynnis?"she slowly got up and looked around the room, just to spot Kallyne standing by the door, her eyes staring at Lucia and her mouth wide open.
"F-Fynnis? Fynnis! She's awake!"she rushed off while shouting.
"Quiet, this is a hospital!"a nurse shushed her.
"A hospital? Did Fynnis bring me here?"she thought, then smiled. "He really is a nice guy. But I gotta admit, human's hospitals have such a drastic difference compared to my village's."
After a few minutes, Kallyne rushed back with Fynnis. Seeing Lucia, Fynnis lowered his head and walked towards her dorm bed.
Lucia saw Fynnis's lips trembling and said, "Yo, Fynnis, I…sorry for-"
"You really are completely a reckless idiot!"Fynnis mocked.
"Huh?! Whatcha say?!"
"Which braincell of yours told you that jumping in front is the best solution?"
"Oh please, if it wasn't for this reckless idiot here, you would have been freaking dead!"
Seeing Lucia's reaction, Fynnis burst out laughing and said, "Alright alright, I do admit, you really helped me out there, but no more next time, okay?"
"What in the world are they talking about…?" Kallyne thought as she stood by the door listening to them talk.
"Yeah, yeah." Lucia leaned back on her bed, a small grin formed on her face. Suddenly, she remembered something.
"Fynnis, where's the ring?"
The smile on Fynnis's face dropped into a serious expression, he lowered his head and hesitantly said, "I'm sorry Lucia, but that old hag snatched it away. I couldn't get it back…"
"What?!" Lucia yelled in shock, her eyes full of disbelief. "Don't you know how important that ring is?!"
"Don't mind if i ask but, is this ring a big deal?" Kallyne couldn't hold her curiosity and asked.
"Should I tell her?" Fynnis turned to Lucia and asked.
"Go ahead, it's for her to decide if she believes us anyway." Lucia sighed.
Fynnis explained the entire situation to her, including him becoming god and the God of Darkness. Kallyne was left speechless. "I-I can't believe it..."
Fynnis sighed and said, "Yeah I know, it sounds crazy, but believe it or not-"
"So does that mean I'm the first ever human to be friends with an elf?!"her eyes sparkled like a bright star.
"Woah, you are more optimistic than I have ever imagined." Fynnis was shocked.
"Heh, yeah you kinda are." Lucia chuckled.
Kallyne gasped in joy, "I'm gonna be a part of history!" She murmured gleefully.
Suddenly, Lucia saw a young adult standing in front of the door. "Who are you?"she asked.
"Wait, I recognise you." Fynnis exclaimed, "You're the person who shot an arrow at that creepy old man!"
"Precisely, and you must be Fynnis Corretson, the heir to the God of Flame's throne."he replied with a cold but calming tone.
"Yeah I am…are you related to this 'god ring' situation?"
He stared at Fynnis for a bit, examining his body, then said, "I originally intended to keep a low profile, but it seems you told her everything, so I'll just cut to the chase. Fynnis, I also am a ring wielding god. I go by the title God of Liquid."
"God of Liquid?"Fynnis, Lucia and Kallyne whispered to themselves in unison.
He pointed at Fynnis and said, "And by any means possible, I will help you retrieve the ring."
"And you would need to explain a lot of stuff." Lucia scoffed and said firmly.
"Wait, wait, there's too much stuff for me to process, am I actually living in a fantasy world?!" Kallyne exclaimed as she scratched her head.
"Uh-um, th-thanks so much! God of Liquid, sir." Fynnis stuttered hopefully.
"Heh, please, call me Montell."
In the same hospital, Mr Hughsworth was seen walking into an ICU room, on the bed laid a young girl with cancer sleeping uncomfortably.
"My child, don't worry. I'll make your remaining days the most wonderful days in your entire life."
