Chapter 117 - CH-117

I ran a hand through my hair, taking a slow breath to clear my thoughts. Hands clasped behind my back, chest high, I addressed the group in a more calming way. 

"Alright, listen carefully," I began. "I want everyone assigned based on their skills so we can make the most of our time and resources."

I let my eyes sweep across their faces, making sure my words sank in.

"First," I continued, shoulders straightening a little more, "those strong enough to handle heavy lifting—cut down trees and gather logs. Use whatever powers you have, but don't get near the base. The trees here are our natural barrier."

I took a step forward, chin up, letting the silence linger for a heartbeat before moving on.

"Second, scouts and anyone with tracking skills—map the area, mark hazards, and locate food. Gather edible plants and safe animals, and keep detailed notes." 

I exhaled slowly, letting my gaze rest on those who had been nursing injuries or carried healing skills.
