Amanda was on cloud nine of course, and her peers—who used to look down on her—were burning with envy, because she was riding the wave of my giant piggy bank.
"Sir, here's today's report," one of my staff knocked, handing me a stack of documents to review.
It was tedious work, no doubt, but far better than doing nothing at all.
"So… they still haven't given us authorization yet?" I asked, flipping through the papers.
"Yes, sir. Right now, only Phoenix, Mythical, and Nebula have access, since they've met the requirements to keep raiding it up to the fifteenth floor."
I nodded, already familiar with the problem.
Only if they failed to make progress for a full month would we be allowed to challenge it—and even then, we would need an official S-Rank to lead the climb.
