For a moment, golden light swallowed the beast's massive frame.
Then came a deafening roar.

A violent surge of black mana erupted from the creature's body, scattering the remaining chains and sending the surrounding hunters tumbling backward.

"Everyone, retreat!"

The beast swung one of its massive limbs.
BOOOOOOM!
Three Overlord-ranked hunters were sent flying. One crashed into the defensive wall, while the others barely managed to stabilize themselves before hitting the ground.
Aeden was among those forced to retreat. His golden flames flickered as he landed several meters away, his boots carving two long trenches into the earth.
"What the hell?!"
He stared at the beast in disbelief.
They had attacked together, yet the creature barely seemed injured.
