The Eight Worlds aren't literal worlds; they are eight continents referred to by that title.
And the Paltheoma Continent is the third of The Eight Worlds.
The Eight Worlds vary in size, location, and characteristics.
Each of The Eight Worlds focuses on different traits, whether it be geological or geographical activities like hot or cold temperature, unnatural weather behavior, odd topology, or all other sorts.
And the main focus of Paltheoma is its vast amount of life and similarities among the rest of The Eight Worlds.
In the Paltheoma Continent, there are nine regions that differ from one another, be it in culture, power, environment, or civilization.
In Paltheoma, there are nine regions. They are:
- Baofuming Region, the Ordinal Center
- Sailzlovaria Region, the Ocean Star
- Erjgesten Region, the Crescent Moon
- PaldanavaIslands, the Severed Shards
- Jargurummi Region, the Sempiternal Fall
- Hwukotuma Region, the Sky Fracture
- Galfida Region, the War Pillar
- Dulcis Musa, the Sweet Banana
- La Vina Tanrida, the Dancing Mountains
In the very center of Paltheoma is the Baofuming Region.
The Baofuming Region is the most basic region in the entirety of Paltheoma. It is not known for any interesting traits but for how bland it is as a region. Another fact about Baofuming is that the powerful Invokers are weak in contrast to other regions' Invokers.
In Baofuming, there are several nations.
However, only five remain due to the attack of powerful Hell's Spawns and events of the Rumbling Fields.
The remaining nations are:
- Gangumen, the Nation of Freedom in the northeast
- Wyumatsui Island, the Center Fishing Capital in the middle of Baofuming
- Qufarg Namuzan, the Nation of Healing in the northwest
- San Sodolia, the Fortified Wall of the West in the northwest
- South Kijisagi, The Southern Empire in the south
While the nations that fell to the harsh attacks of the Hell's spawns are:
- Lan Tuwang in the west
- Fillva in the northeast
- Zimpali in the east
- CjarrganWadi in the southeast
- LliuezzeSui in the southwest
- Narmarran in the south
In the Baofuming Region, there are five remaining nations and six destroyed nations.
On the map, what is written are not only regions and nations but also the different geographical locations in each place.

Maeyurai studied the map and prepared a few questions he could ask the two.
Baofuming... So this is where I live.
Gangumen is quite small compared to other nations.
The nearby regions are Sailzlovaria just above it and the Paldanava Islands below a little to the left.
"I have one question," he said. "Why are the other nations' names in the Baofuming Region crossed out on the map?"
Looking at the map, the names like Fillva and Zimpali are indeed crossed out.
"Crossed out? Oh, that's because those nations are no longer standing, meaning they already fell down and got destroyed," Shienne replied.
After Shienne talked, Mhiya added, "50 years ago, before the start of the Romantic Age, there was a Low-Mythical-Level Rumbling Field that destroyed the entirety of Baofuming—leaving only the five remaining we know of today."
"Baofuming doesn't really have strong Invokers that are on the level of Legendary and above; the highest-ranking Invoker that we know of is one of the Imperial Three in South Kijisagi, Aocisste Alkaede," she continued.
"Aocisste Alkaede? What's his rank? And what does he do?" Maeyurai asked. He was feeling quite intrigued by this powerful individual that Mhiya spoke of.
"He's a Low-Legendary Invoker with three Attributes; he has Conjuration, Infusion, and Alteration. His Affinity is Water, and it's no surprise that his mere presence is enough to make people feel safe."
When Mhiya finished explaining, Shienne shrugged and said, "Most of the powerful Invokers in Baofuming are in South Kijisagi—which is why that nation has remained standing ever since it was founded at the start of the Golden Age."
"Well, South Kijisagi is a great place to live in anyway. It is governed by a powerful king, and his right-hand man is the strongest in the entire region," Mhiya would add.
"Doesn't South Kijisagi have a new king now?" Shienne asked, as she hadn't caught up to the news yet.
"Yeah, and the festival for the new king is coming in three months. I kind of want to check it out."
While the two were talking, Maeyurai was deep in thought.
A Low-Legendary Invoker with three Attributes?
That's quite powerful. Not to mention he has a 1/48 Affinity.
Can I become as strong as him?
"I wonder what my Affinity and Attribute are," he muttered under his breath; it wasn't meant for Shienne and Mhiya to hear.
The two stopped talking and shifted their gaze towards Maeyurai.
An awkward silence.
"What?" Maeyurai asked.
"You wanna know what your Affinity and Attribute are?" Mhiya replied.
Maeyurai merely nodded.
Before speaking, Mhiya nodded as well.
"Okay," she said. "The reason why your bow caught on fire was because of the First Sign. If you haven't unlocked your mana yet, it will go out on its own—hence why you conjured flames and burned your bow."
"It is the same as to why Shienne was electrocuted when she tapped you earlier. You infused your body with weak lightning and electrocuted Shienne," she continued. "Therefore your Attributes are Conjuration and Infusion; and you have double Affinities, Fire and Lightning."
"However," Shienne said after Mhiya was done explaining. "This is only the First Sign. We're not completely sure what your Attributes and Affinities are."
Mhiya nodded her head in agreement to what Shienne had said.
Isn't that quite good? Double Affinity and Double Attribute—I'm quite lucky.
"Does that mean I'm quite strong?" Maeyurai asked.
"Don't get cocky," Shienne said. "Just because you have a double in both doesn't mean you're already strong. Train harder, and you'll see results."
"Right, my bad."
Once more, it was quiet. It's always like this every time a topic finishes.
Hold on, why is it always awkwardly silent?
Are these two always like this?
Or is it because of me?
"You guys can be incredibly noisy or incredibly silent at times," he broke the silence. "No in-between. It's quite weird, honestly. Not in a bad way, though."
The two didn't reply.
Shienne headed towards the bathroom, while Mhiya kept seated—looking outside the window.
Okay, that felt embarrassing.
Maeyurai then remembered one thing he was supposed to ask earlier and looked at Mhiya.
"Mhiya," he called. "When is The Hunt?"
The silent Mhiya turned her face from the window to Maeyurai. "Hm? The Hunt? It's in four days."
"Four days?!" Maeyurai exclaimed as he stood up. "You can't be serious! I only have four days to prepare, and then I'll participate as a newbie?!"
"Yeah, you only have that much," Mhiya replied. "Mr. Koja taught you late, but it should be enough time for you to improve, right? He said you learn really fast."
Maeyurai sighed; just having four days clearly wasn't enough for him.
"Hahh... I thought I had around at least a few weeks... Whatever, sure, I'll try my best either way."
Eeek...
The creaking sound of the main door opening immediately pulled in Mhiya's and Maeyurai's attention like a magnet.
When the door was fully opened, Huizen came in. Taking a step in the house, he said, "I'm back."
His eyes searched around and landed on the two people in the living room.
"Oh, you two. Finally done training? Where's Shienne—"
He paused as his eyes landed on Maeyurai's bandaged arms.
"Maeyurai, what happened to your arms?" he asked, his voice carrying a tone of concern.
Huizen made his way towards Maeyurai.
"He got the First Sign earlier during training," Mhiya answered.
"First Sign? What happened in his First Sign?"
"He conjured flames and burned both of his arms. Not only that, it seems he infused his body with lightning."
Huizen's eyes widened. He didn't expect that Maeyurai would carry two Affinities.
"Maeyurai, I knew you had it in you!" he said joyfully, ruffling Maeyurai's hair.
While ruffling Maeyurai's hair, he asked, "Do you think you can continue training?"
Maeyurai fell into thought as he tried to consider the possibilities and future.
Continue training, huh?
I can continue if I endure the pain. I kind of want to force it because The Hunt is coming in four days.
Checking out the condition of his arms, Maeyurai opened and closed his hands.
"I can," he answered.

After the day had passed, Maeyurai went to follow Mhiya upstairs to their shared room. Of course, Maeyurai slept on a different bed from Mhiya.
