The next day was bright and fresh, a new Monday filled with possibilities. The students of Lifetime College were gearing up for the new week, buzzing with excitement and anticipation. Lectures were set to begin, new faces awaited in every corridor, and the campus was alive with the energy of fresh starts.
The freshmen party was still the talk of the campus. Everyone was sharing clips and stories, and Bella and Justin's unforgettable dance remained trending on social media. Their names were whispered in awe and curiosity, adding a little extra sparkle to their Monday morning.
Bella was already in the kitchen, dressed in a soft satin robe, scrolling through her phone with a dreamy smile on her face.
Kathy walked in, still half-asleep, rubbing her eyes. She paused when she saw Bella smiling to herself.
"Good morning," Kathy said, yawning. "Why are you smiling like that?"
Bella glanced up quickly, hiding her grin behind her mug of tea. "No reason."
Kathy raised an eyebrow. "You were on the phone with Justin almost all night. Don't even try to hide it. I could hear your giggles from my room."
Bella laughed, her cheeks warming. "Okay, fine. We talked for a while… That's all."
"A while? Bella, it was nearly 2 AM," Kathy said, playfully shocked. "And I even heard you two making plans for today."
Bella rolled her eyes but couldn't help smiling again. "Yeah, we're going to meet up after my class. I only have one today, and since you have two, I'll wait for you so we can leave together."
Kathy leaned on the counter with a mischievous smile. "Wow. So love is in the air already? Should I start calling you Mrs. Justin now?"
"Please don't start," Bella replied, trying to hold back her laughter. "It's not even like that."
They enjoyed a light breakfast together, pudding , and fruit, while playfully teasing each other. Kathy kept making comments about Bella's "secret love life," and Bella did her best to ignore her while hiding her blush.
Soon after, they got dressed for the day. Both girls looked effortlessly stylish. Bella wore high-waisted beige trousers and a fitted white blouse with subtle gold jewelry, while Kathy went for a chic, pastel blue co-ord set with white sneakers. They spritzed their favorite perfumes, applied their gloss, and admired their looks in the mirror.
"Expensive girls, check," Kathy said as she grabbed her tote bag.
"Soft life loading," Bella added, posing dramatically.
Laughing, they headed down to the parking lot. The plan they had made earlier was simple: they'd alternate driving each day. Since Bella was driving today, she'd drop Kathy off at her department, and then head to hers, just about ten minutes away.
On the drive, they chatted, listened to music, and took more photos for their Instagram stories. Bella dropped Kathy off at her department's entrance, and they both waved goodbye, already counting down to the end of the day when they'd meet again.
Bella drove off, her heart fluttering just a little more than usual, thinking about the message she'd soon receive from Justin.
