"I am not strong enough to bring them back to the village and I can't just leave them over here.....so, the best thing to bring atleast their possessions and burn their bodies over here."
The kid finishes extracting possessions from them and burn them.

He lefts to the village.

He enters and is greeted by the village chief.
He hands all of the victims possessions to the family members.
At night.
The village people prayed at the deaths of their loved ones and prepared a feast to enjoy the death of a monster who killed their family.
The village chief steps in and speaks -
"Everyone, listen to me. We have suffered a lot due to the goblins and lost many of our loved ones but a single person annihilated the monster and brought peace to our homeland. I now welcome, the hero of our village, ???."
As the kid approaches the chief, the people began clapping.
After the party.
"??? thank you for your help. Oh, by the way, the old man Dwalin wanted to meet you. Be will be at the blacksmith."
At the blacksmith.
The door opens and ??? enters.
"Hey, kid, long time no see. Due to your heroic work, you can ask of me anything. Its free."
"So, can you repair my sword."
Hands over the sword.
"Hmm, no can do. It's all tatter up. It's beyond repair."
The kid shows the materials to the old man.
"Oh ho ho, what a nice material. The Orb is tainted in blood of the human sacrifices and the heart is perfect to increase the weapons durability. I will make a perfect weapon for ya."
