27th December, Space Era Years 103.
In the aftermath of the civil war, Lord Aelyzabeth von Thors proclaimed the doctrine of "Reconstruction of the Universe through Stability."She entrusted the governance of the Centory Kingdom to a newly established Council of Economic Scholars, composed of intellectuals and administrators chosen for their merit rather than their rank — a symbol of her vision to replace the engines of war with the machinery of wisdom.
Among the countless souls rebuilding their lives after the chaos, one name would soon rise above the rest — George Sergisther, age twenty-seven.Born the son of beggars with no citizenship, he clawed his way from the gutter of Centory's slums, trading scraps and machinery parts since the age of thirteen. By sheer discipline and intellect, he opened a modest shop before his twentieth year.
When the government announced the Junger Linngen C–I Examination — the qualifying test for local administration officers — George entered, mocked by others as "the beggar's son who dreams too high." Yet when the results were revealed, the hall fell silent: he achieved a perfect score in practical governance, displaying a mind sharpened not by privilege but by survival.
His name reached Lord Aelyzabeth Thors herself. Intrigued, she summoned him for a special provincial evaluation in the capital, Berlyn, where he once again excelled beyond expectation. The Lord, impressed by his pragmatism and incorruptible resolve, appointed him as a probationary officer in the Dosch District — a quiet beginning to a destiny that would shape the new order of the stars.
The Reorganization of the Cosmos.
The following year marked the dawn of the most sweeping reform in galactic history — the reorganization of the entire Centory Empire.
The Crownland System (the Centory Core) became the supreme seat of power.Surrounding it were twelve Sub-Crownlands, functioning as the imperial periphery.Beyond them stretched four Grand Regions — North, East, South, and West — each divided into two Sub-Regions, forming the twelvefold order of governance.
Examples of this structure include:
Noirch (North Region) — Senser (Resource Zone), Karhone (Iron Industry).
Ostenia (East Region) — Germaria (Urban Dense Zone), Guilling (Frontier Development).
Sorrovia (South Region) — Kirlia (Residential Belt), Kaletis (Border Defense).
Westania (West Region) — Umesys (Military Industry), Firunun (Grand Agriculture).
At the heart of the new economy, Lord Thors consecrated the star Tiraxinosys as the First Special Economic Zone of the Empire — slashing trade taxes from 29% to merely 12%, igniting a renaissance of interstellar commerce. Within months, millions found employment, and the star's productivity soared beyond all expectation, accounting for nearly six percent of the Empire's GDP.
The Administrative Order of the New Age.
Each region would henceforth be governed by a Triarchic Council:
Governor-General — appointed by the central government.
Regional Executive — elected by the people.
Independent Inspector — appointed by the Central Audit Authority, reporting directly to the public.
Each Sub-Crownland was granted a Viceroy of the Lord's Mandate, serving a five-year term.Meanwhile, the Crownland of Centory itself remained under the Lord's direct rule, with a civilian Secretary-General and a High Commander of the Metropolitan Defense Forces ensuring order in the capital.
The Galactic Road Initiative
From her vision was born the monumental "Galactic Road" Project — a permanent network of warp routes connecting the core to its satellites:
Route II: Centory – Thailang Planet
Route III: Centory – Evening Planet
Route IV: Centory – Horsh Capital of Noirch (North Region)
Route V: Centory – Elba Capital of Ostenia (East Region)
Route VI: Centory – Falpo Capital of Sorrovia (South Region
Route VII: Centory – Qaeda Capital of Westania (West Region)
Supplemented by the Solar Road System, these arteries of light united the Empire in trade and movement. Though the cost was vast, the results were miraculous — unemployment fell by 2.6 million, and the economy surged by 4% within two years, achieved without a single foreign credit.
The Lord of Light and Shadow
12th June, Space Era 104 — The reforms reached completion.
At twenty-six, Lord Aelyzabeth Thors stood as both the savior and the sovereign of a reborn civilization. Yet the wounds she bore from the civil war had long eroded her strength; she could no longer bear children by natural means. In an act of solemn continuity, she chose to preserve her lineage through artificial genesis, ensuring that the blood of Thors would endure beyond flesh and time.
In the same year, she elevated George Sergisther, now twenty-eight, to the position of Chief Trade Tax Officer of Tiraxinosys, declaring before the Council:
"Men such as he are the foundation upon which the future must be built."— Decree of Lord Aelyzabeth von Thors
From that day forth, George Sergisther became the living emblem of the Age of Restoration — a testament that even a man born in dust could rise among the stars, so long as the hand of the Lord of Thors still guided the heavens.
Thus ends Chapter C-XXV.
