Takeshi Haruka POV:
It's morning , I'm awake and the first thing I made sure is to arrange my bed.
I went over to the living room, I then asked Mrs Shinohara.
"Mrs.Shinohara do you have any spare toothbrushe?"
Mrs.Shinohara replies with.
"Yes dear there's some in the small cubby."
"Thank you Mrs Shinohara."
I made my way towards the restroom , however before I could go in.
Yuichi was inside using the restroom.
5 minutes later-
5 minutes went by, I made my way to the bathroom, to go and look for a toothbrush , that was in a small cubby,
I scanned the bathroom.
There it was the small cubby, I really shouldn't go through people's belongings, grandma would scold me for this, however I was given permission.
I snooped through the cubby and found what I was looking for, there was 10 unused toothbrush. I don't know why they've that many, I guess I'll take two.
One in my shadow storage and the other to use right now. I grab the brand new toothbrush, I then grab the toothpaste , then grab my toothbrush and squeeze the toothpaste onto the toothbrush.
Then got to, cleaning my teeth the sensation of having to properly clean my teeth is wonderful.
5 minutes later-
I finish cleaning my teeth, I then went over to the living room , I then spotted Yoshito.
I went over to him and asked.
"Yoshito your a village guard in trainee , could I go to station and watch your training drills?
Yoshito give me a Complicated expression then says.
"Hmm I could maybe let you come, however I would need to ask my supervisor.
Yoshito then chimes.
"Why is there a reason for this?"
I replied to his question by saying.
"I would like to avengeallthepeople who suffered in that place, I cannot do that without learning how to fight.
I said everything with determination and a serious demeanor.
Yoshito was taken back, by how serious and determined I am.
Yoshito looked straight into my eyes, it was then at that moment Yoshito realized that I'm not the LittleTakeshi he once knew.
"Okay I'll see what could do if , I can't let you in then you should join or pay someone to teach you.
Yoshito said.
"Thank you Yoshito, I really appreciate the gesture you and your family have given me."
I said.
Mrs.Shinohara called out.
"Takeshi,Yoshito,Yuchi,and honey breakfast is ready!"
I made my way over to the dining table , where a perfectly homemade meal is served.

20 minutes later-
"Thank you Mrs Shinohara for the breakfast, it was delicious."
I say complimenting Mrs.Shinohara excellent breakfast.
"Thank you dear, and your more then welcome to have more of my cooking."
Mrs.Shinohara says.
Yoshito walks up to me and says in slight concern.
"Your ready, you might or might not be able to go in, I'll try and see if your allowed to if not then..."
"That's okay I'll find someone if this doesn't work."
I replied with to remove his concern.
15 minutes later-
We where at the front entrance of a military like station. The security is through the roof, the only reason I'm not in hand cuffs or in jail cell, is because of Yoshito uniform.
"Wait right here, I will come back and get you, let me first ask my supervisor to allow you inside."
Yoshito says.
"That's okay."
I replied.
I stayed standing where I was left
5 minutes later-
Yoshito comes back at the front entrance then says.
"My supervisor allows it just this once ,next time you will need to join properly."
"Okay lead the way."
I said.
5 minutes later-
We both were right in front of a military campsite.
Yoshito walks in and immediately salutes an shouts at the top of his lungs.
"SIR! YOSHITO IS REPORTING FOR TASK!
I didn't saluted, because I'm not a real member of the military force or its because I don't know this man long enough to give a salute. I can't show the same respect level as Yoshito or anyone else under his command.
I didn't say anything just analyze the person in front of me. A key detail about this man is his short-crew cut and his brown color hair, he looked to be about 30 years old or older, he was about 180 centimeters tall.
That person did the same thing as me, now as analyze, the person in front of me, I notice his Mana/force is almost equal to the women who raid the orphanage.

However the difference between her and this person, is not just experience, it's the individual skills, that will determine the outcome of such equal footing.
I need to learn as much as I can from this person.
I then projected my voice despite how somber my tone is.
"Takeshi! Pleasure to meet your acquaintance!
"So Yoshito this is the person you spoken of earlier."
The man says, testing something, I couldn't quite tell what type of test or what's going inside his head.
"YES!SIR!"
Yoshito says yelling at the top of his lungs.
The man approaches up to me and introduces himself to me.
" My name Drill Sergeant Haruki Suzuki, I will be monitoring your actions closely.
Drill sergeant Haruki then says.
"Now I have heard that recruit Yoshito , had requested for you to be trained here.
Drill sergeant Haruki then says.
"Normally regulations, would have been properly done, however I was willing to let this one time go so prepare yourself."
Just when I thought he was done talking he continues with.
"I heard Yoshito excuse, for why you want to participate our training regime.
Drill sergeant Haruki then continued with.
"This time I want to hear the words that come out of your mouth."
I replied to his statement by asking.
"If I'm to assume that Yoshito told you my misfortune?
Drill sergeant Haruki replies with.
" Yoshito did mention a little about your misfortune something about, the incident that happened nearly 4 years ago to the 5 missing orphans.
"Yes"
I replied and then say.
"To answer your earlier statement, I would like to avengeallthepeople who suffered in that place, I cannot do that without learning how to properly use combat."
"Avenge huh.. or is it revenge you want."
Drill sergeant Haruki said.
"I will avenge the people who suffered, by eliminating the people responsible."
I continued with saying with a little malevolence.
"I will get revenge for the monster that made all of it happen and give him the same despair, that he has spread all over the world."
The drill sergeant Haruki was a little taken back by either knowing the difference between avenge and revenge, or taken back by my entire demeanor.
" I see… now let's say you do accomplish all of that, what will you do then."
I was so sure however time can only tell.
I reply by saying.
"Time will only tell."
"Okay that's enough chatting for now, off to the training drills."
Drill Sergeant Haruki says as he walks through the
"Yes sir."
"Yes sir."
Both me and Yoshito say as we follow drill sergeant Haruki.
5 minutes later-
I was by a training camp site, where Drill sergeant Haruki was about to introduce me to the trainees.
"Recruits This Here Is Takeshi He will be Joining You With Your Training!"
"WELCOME TAKESHI!"
A group of trainees called out.
Some of them see me as a little 12 year old boy.Others thinking is this some type of joke. Then there's the I don't really care club just don't bother me.
I obverse around all the trainees, they were about 60/40 ratio of men and women. I then noticed one familiar looking teenager.
It was the teenager that I triumphed, he then finally recognize me.

They didn't like me, I was instantly being glared at. They probably will like nothing more than to cripple me.
I turn my gaze back to Drill sergeant Haruki.
Drill sergeant Haruki then reaches out to table and picks up a board then says the following.
"Here is a list of what we will be doing!"
"Strength training: were we will be focusing on calisthenics and weightlifting."
"Next!"
"Cardiovascular fitness:were we will be focusing on running/sprints and rucking.
"Next!"
"You will be doing a obstacle course, such as climbing, crawling and more running."
"Next!"
"You will taking a 20 minute break."
"Finally!"
"You will be doing combat exercises."
"That will be all."
"You will take 10 minutes to use the restroom,change clothes or… whatever just be back on the dot.
Dril sergeant Haruki finally finished his grand speech.
I went over to the changing rooms, to change into the standard training attire.
I then made my way back, there is still 9 minutes left. So I'll meditate in the meantime.
8 minutes later-
"What are you doing."
I then opened my eyes towards the sound of Yoshito voices.
"Meditating."
I said confused.
"Well hurry up it's almost time!"
Yoshito said somewhat panicking.
I got up from my position then waited, soon Drill sergeant Haruki came back and says.
"Good I see all of you are ready to begin."
Calisthenics training-
200-push ups
200-squats
200-lunges
200-burpees
200-sit ups
"Most all be done under 15 minutes."
Dril sergeant Haruki instructed.
13 minutes later-
I was the first finish.
Then minute later they all started finishing
2 minutes went by-
"Next up!"
Weight training-
Deadlift-200 (50 kilograms)
Calf rise-200 (11 kilograms)
Dumbbell flys-200 (20 kilograms)
Squat lift-200 (50 kilograms)
Lateral raise-200 (11 kilograms)
"The weight training must be completed under 25 minutes."
23 minutes later-
I was the last one to finish, some of them might think I'm weak, however it's my first time ever properly lift things, since I was able to use magic I would use magic to carry the heavy weight.
Now actually picking up and setting them back to place it was a lot tougher than I thought.
"Since you all finish earlier than I expected, we can move on to the next one.
Dril sergeant Haruki instructed.
Cardiovascular fitness-
Long run- 5 kilometers must be finished under 8- minutes
Sprints- race against all trainees-
Rucking- 5 (11 kilograms on) kilometers must be finished under 16 minutes
" we will do the long run first."
Dril sergeant Haruki instructed.
5 minutes later-
I was the first one done I waited.
4 minutes later-
"Now you all will be racing in 400 meters, there will be a horn bell that will begin the race."
Dril sergeant Haruki instructed.

I moved faster than anyone and finish first place.
1st place with 20/seconds.
3 minutes later-
"Now for Rucking.
Dril sergeant Haruki instructed.
12 minutes later-
I finished in 5th place right behind Yoshito.
6 minutes later-
" Now the obstacle course, you will need to finish the obstacle within 15 minutes- you will need to climb 4 walls each 4 have a different height advantage, then you will need to climb back down then crawl into small spaces and uncomfortably spikes and needles.
Lastly you will finish a 1 kilometer run,then you will need to Rucksack that will carry (11 kilograms) up to 1 kilometer then finish.
12 minutes later-
I finished 3rd, I was in 1st place until I picked up the rucksack,now I'm finally showing some real fatigue.
I haven't drink any water because it wouldn't be fair to the other competitors and also would help improve my endurance without water greatly.
4 minutes later-
We finally got to take a break, I will meditate the whole time, to recover my fatigue state.
17 minutes later-
I feel my body recover from fatigue, I think I will be able to perform better since I had a proper rest.
"Now then of to combat exercise."
Dril sergeant Haruki said.
Combat exercise-
Grab/takedowns-
Punching/kicking-
Swords/bow and arrows or guns-
"Now then we will be doing grabs and takedown techniques."
Dril sergeant Haruki says.
"Pair up in twos, to face each other"
Dril sergeant Haruki instructed.
Immediately the teenager who I oppose, from before runs matches up with me.
"You may begin."
Immediately I was nearly hit with a punch, this grabs and takedowns not brawling.
"Yuto no fighting only takedowns and grabs!"
Dril sergeant Haruki scold Yuto.
Yuto doesn't say anything or acknowledge Dril sergeant Haruki words.
Yuto throws a his hand out to grab me by the face, while his whole attention is focused on grabbing my face, I immediately ducked under to his right and warped my arms around his lower back and picked him up then slam him on the ground.

We went over at this for 5 minutes.
"Now then punching and kicking can be added to the sparing."
Yuto immediately uses his mana to increase his speed and agility.
I didn't do that, instead I increased my endurance and durability, I was then meet with a punch that barely did any damage to me.
I then saw his next attack come in, he tries to kick me in the face, however I momentarily dodge the attack, in the same moment I tried to grab him, he dodges the grab, however instead of channeling Mana into endurance I switched it to agility instead.
I jumped up high and delivered a kick right at his face, instead of meeting with his face it was his arms that where hit.

I either put to much strength or he is simply to weak.
Well there goes my partner, then next up is
2 minutes later-
"Next up swordsmanship,grab a wooden sword then practice using it on each other.
Drill sergeant Haruki instructed.
"Takeshi since you don't have a partner then I will be the sparing partner."
Dril sergeant Haruki says.
I then picked up the sword then proceeded to test the swinging.
We both were facing each other, I somewhat copied his sword stance.
I then without warning strike right at his gut section , he blocked the strike with little effort, and tried to strike me.

I then blocked the strike holding the sword with two hands and pushed off his strike to throw his sword stance unbalance.

This gives me a slight advantage over him, but instead of attacking I wait for his guard to return, I went with a low slash then transition upwards.
5 minutes later-
I was getting a decent grasp from going offense to defense , I never landed a blow or let he strike me.
What surprised me is we did this without using our Mana physical boost, just nothing with swordsmanship.
"Next up targets, you could use guns or bow and arrow."
I went with the bow and immediately hit every single target 100%
I then challenged myself to go for targets only sniper's could reach, I shot 4 arrows different times.
(1.) arrow hit the 100 meter with 100% accuracy
(2.)arrow hit the 200 meter with 100% accuracy
(3.) arrow hits 300 meters with 92% accuracy
(4.) arrow hits 400 meters with 63% accuracy.
I then finished my training, I learned a lot about how to use combat without relying on using magic powers.
