Chapter 39 - "The Awakening of the Blue Crow"

Then Ruka finished telling the story of Zaid.

Orbigodo was shocked to hear everything.

Tears came into his eyes and he said, "Zaid is not a devil… he is the god of everyone."He turned to Chucky and shouted, "What have you done, Father? You didn't even talk to him, didn't ask why he wanted to do this. You just followed your leaders' orders like a puppet!"Chucky said sternly, "Enough, Orbigodo.

You promised me — when you learned the truth, you would kill Ruka and finish this work. If you don't do it, then I will."Orbigodo stepped in front of Ruka. "I won't do it. And you won't do it either, Father Chucky. If you want to kill her, you'll have to kill me first."Chucky looked at him for a moment, then sighed.

"Fine. I will not finish her. We must reach the Western Lab. Leio is waiting for us."Orbigodo turned to Ruka and said quietly, "From now on, you are free.

Do whatever you want. You are free from today."Ruka shook her head, tears falling. "Why didn't you kill me? Please… kill me. I don't want to live. If I live, I'll always regret losing Zaid… and our child, who never even saw the world."Orbigodo said gently, "I won't do that. You have to move on.

Forget everything about Zaid."They tied the horses and rode toward the Western Lab.On the other side, Leio was standing in the lab, shocked. Zaid's body was connected to the royal blood of Boxery through tubes and wires, but his eyes remained closed.Leio carefully collected some of Zaid's blood and put it into a micro vial.

Under the microscope, he saw that the blood was reacting strangely — almost like acid. Then he added poisonous snake venom to the sample to test it. When the venom mixed with Zaid's blood, the colour changed to a dark blue.Leio stepped back, stunned. "I don't understand… what is happening here?" he whispered.Meanwhile, in the Coordinate World, Zaid still stood before Ario.

She had already given him the full power and said, "From today onward, you are the god of the Alien Monstrous Powers."Zaid asked, "Can I go back to the world now?"Ario nodded. "Yes. You will go back. But you still have work to do there. You have thirty years — and this is the last year. After that, you can do whatever you want."Then she warned him, her voice suddenly cold.

"But remember: if you make any contact with your Ruka before your task is complete… or if you fail… then I will come myself and finish what you could not.

"Zaid lowered his head. "Don't worry. I will never do anything you hate."He paused, then asked, "In the 20-year battle… you said I would lose. Why? And why did you kill my Ruka? If you wanted to save the world, why didn't you do it yourself? Why did you make me suffer?"Ario turned away. "When the right time comes, I will tell you why I did what I did," she said quietly.

She lifted her hand and added, "Now I am sending you back to the world again. You will see with your own eyes what the world has become after the 20-year battle.""One more thing," she said.

"If you try to cheat me… I will rip the powers out of you."Zaid answered, "I will never do that."Back in the Western Lab, a few minutes later, Leio noticed sudden changes in Zaid's body.

His heartbeat rose sharply, pounding like a drum.Leio cursed under his breath. "What's going on now?" He grabbed the heart-therapy iron paddles and placed them on Zaid's chest, stabilizing him again and again. After a few months in that state, something finally happened.A huge burst of blue light exploded from Zaid's body.

The machines around him flickered and sparked.Zaid slowly rose up from the bed. His body was no longer fully human — it looked like a pure alien form, smooth and radiant. Above his head, a glowing ring of light was slowly circling around him like a halo.Zaid had returned.
