Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Jenny is Back

Jenny was back.

The words alone twisted like a knife in Tim's gut.

She wasn't just another survivor. She was the girl who kissed him at the gates of Villian Ville, looking like she had walked straight off a red carpet entrance — confident, teasing, dangerously beautiful. She was the one who abandoned him without a word, leaving him hollow.

Now she sat before him, broken but alive. Her blouse was torn, hanging off her shoulder like a paparazzi shot gone too far, lips cracked, hair tangled. Her body was frail, yet the shape of her curves still pulled at every memory. Jenny was back — and with her came all the ghosts.

"Why did you leave me?" Tim's voice was low, harsh. "Out of the blue, without a word… why?"

Jenny's lips parted, trembling. She held his gaze, then faltered. "I… can't answer that. Not yet. But when the time is right, I'll tell you everything."

His fists curled. His rage begged for answers now. But her voice — ashamed, fragile — stayed his hand.

Jenny brushed her hair aside, baring her collarbone. The damp blouse clung like an Instagram 'wet look' photo gone viral. Tim hated how his body remembered what his mind wanted to forget.

She steadied herself. "What I can tell you is this. I want Genny to pay. For what she did to me. For Tammy. For Villian Ville. You want revenge, Tim? So do I. Let me help you rebuild Tidam."

"No." His answer cracked like thunder. "You don't get to walk back in. Too much blood is tied to your face. Too much pain. I won't have you in Tidam."

Jenny lowered her head, hair spilling like a pop star caught off-stage, mascara running. "Then I'll fight alone," she whispered.

Her blouse slipped further as she leaned forward, firelight painting her chest. Angel and curse, all at once. Jenny was back, and Tim's fury tangled with desire until it threatened to break him.

Amy crawled closer, hugging his arm like a TikTok cosplay girl playing innocent for the camera, her chest pressing into his bicep. "Tim… we need five members. Without it, Tidam isn't even recognized. Jenny's back. She could make us whole again."

Tim ground his teeth. Her warmth was distracting.

Lacey folded her arms beneath her chest, like a fitness influencer posing between sets, soft curves shielding a hard edge. "I don't trust her. But Amy's right. We need numbers. If Jenny is really back, maybe we can use that."

Yuko leaned against the wall, skirt sliding higher over her thighs, smirk sharp as any blade. The K-pop idol off-stage look — casual, confident, untouchable. "Leader, face it. Jenny's back. And whether you like it or not, she's the only one who knows the queen better than us."

Tim's breath came ragged. Amy's plea, Lacey's reluctant logic, Yuko's cold sharpness — all against him. And Jenny waited, her lips cracked, her blouse clinging, silent but steady.

Finally, Tim exhaled, the fight leaving his shoulders.

"…Damn it." His voice was low. "Fine. She stays."

Amy squealed, hugging his arm tighter. Lacey sighed but didn't argue. Yuko smirked, satisfied but watchful.

Tim glared at Jenny. "But hear me. You're back, but you don't have my trust. Not until you prove it in blood. Not until you answer me why you left."

Jenny's eyes glistened, but her voice carried strength. "Then I'll prove it. With everything I have left."

The firelight caught on her damp skin, her trembling lips. Jenny was back. And with her came temptation, fury, and the weight of every scar Tim carried.

But when the room settled, Jenny's voice cut through again.

"You said you need five." Her tone was faint but steady, her gaze flicking from Tim to the others. "I know where to find the last one."

The fire snapped, shadows dancing across their faces.

For the first time, Tim felt the air shift. Jenny wasn't just back. She was pointing them forward.
