Art slowly opens his eyes, he looks around him and sees multiple people who's hands are chained to the wall, and the floor is shaking.
He looks around and sees his arms chained to the wall, he looks to his right and sees an old man.
The old man looks at him and says
"Ahh, your awake son, it's okay, we're inside of a carriage, everything will be fine"
A person walks in, from the front of carriage,
What looks to be a bandit, he walks up to the old man and kicks him, while saying
"Oi, shut your trap, you old bastard"
He looks back at the bandit in the front and says
"How long until we reach, sylvorra"
The one in the front replies with
"You know we're crossing to another continent, shit's gonna take awhile"
As Art, drained from his strength starts falling back asleep.
Just when he closed his eyes, the bandit in front screamed
"WHAT THE FU-"
All could Art feel at the moment, is something grabbing the carriage and flying with it.
Not long goes by, the one carrying the carriage is suddenly attacked by a group of hunters.
It drops the carriage and flys away.
The carriage lands in a dense forest, as the carriage falls apart, Art wakes up, only to see the people who were with him are all dead.
The chain's start to break and Art falls out of the carriage and lands on the dead body of one of the bandit's, he gets up, looks around and realizes that his family isn't around, his body shaking, tears fill his face as he cries his heart out.
TWO YEARS LATER.
Art roaming the forest, armed with weapons from the bandits he killed.
He Stops and sits down and starts making fire, with a fire magic and rests near the campfire.
A few minutes go by, suddenly a sound coming from the bushes, Art quickly grabs his dagger, as the creature from the bushes, slowly starts to step out if hiding.
A baby dragon comes out and it looks hungry.
Art notices and grabs a piece of meat he was cooking on the fire, and tosses it at the dragon, the dragon back a little and then starts to approach the cooked piece of meat, it takes a sniff then starts eating.
Art smiling, watches it as it finishes eating, after eating, it sits down and looks at Art while wagging its tail, as it's redish eyes stare down Art, Art grabs another piece of meat and instead of tossing it, he starts slowly waving it, in front of the dragon.
The dragon takes a good look and doesn't see Art as a threat, it gets up and slowly walks towards him, it reaches Art and bites the piece of meat.
Art slowly pat's it's back, as he observes it's scales, colored in gray and black.
It finishes eating, then sits in front of Art,
Art looks at it and say
"You're alone, like me"
He picks it up and says
"I'll be your friend, from now on, your name is Seroph"
Both of them, fought together, ate together, laughed together and slept together.
EIGHT YEARS PASS
We see an older Art, taking a bath in the river, he gets out and drys himself, his hair, has grown a little under his shoulder, he tie's it into a messy ponytail, he has grown taller too, he's about 6'2" and has grown way more muscle.
He wears a worn down armor, puts his cloak on and grabs his tools and sword.
He also grabs a bag filled with precious gems
And monster parts, he puts it on his shoulder and says "Seroph" suddenly a dragon appears through strange mist.
Seroph has become the size of a small house, large enough to eat a whole person in one bite.
Art looks at him and say
"What do you think, there's a small town nearby, should i go and sells these parts?"
Seroph looks at Art and shakes his head in agreement.
Art looks a little hesitant, but he gives in and says
"Fine, if anything bad happens, am taking half of your food"
Seroph looks at Art with a frown and disappears into the mist leaving nothing behind.
Art, rolls his eyes and starts walking towards the direction of the small town.
After a few minutes, Art reaches the town and starts walking around.
He notices a sign spelling
(Adventurer's /Hunter's guild)
He walks in, and sees multiple adventures and hunters, some trying to recruit and others looking for quests, they all look at him as he walks forward and reaches the front desk after that, he sees a woman ordering around the employees yelling at them
"YOU, GET THE QUESTS READY, YOU BRING THE QUEST REWARDS"
Art nervously asks her
"Excuse me"
She turns around and her attitude switch's completely
"Hello sir, how can i help you"
He puts the bag on the desk and says
"I want to exchange these monster parts"
Surprised she replies
"Oh wow, quite the haul you got"
She grabs and opens the bag, she peeks inside and see rare monster parts, alongside precious gems.
She's left in awe, she looks at Art and looks back at the bag, she takes it to the back and starts valuing everything.
All the people in the guild looking at Art.
After a few minutes, she's brings back a bag filled with coin's, the bag looks like it's about to explode, she hands it to him and the says
"Here's your money, let me say that's the first in a while i had to work like that"
He grabs the bag and thanks her, she then says
"There's a bar nearby if you're feeling hungry, also have you considered joini-"
One of the employees cut's her off and says
"Ma'am he's gone"
She looks back and he's really gone.
As Art is leaving the guild, he thinks about the bar she recommended and decides to go there.
He walks inside and notices beginner hunters,
Who are tossing throwing knives at what looks to be a silver haired fairy, it's size a little smaller then an adult human's head and it looks like it's tied to the wall.
The fairy, screaming while begging the hunters to stop.
The one throwing the knives replies with
"Zip it mimic, you ain't got a right to talk"
Art, ignores them and heads to the table in front of the bartender and sits there.
He politely asks for a meal.
The bartender, serves it to him and is payed.
While eating, The bartender annoyed starts talking to Art and says
"These people, just because their hunters, they think they can get away with anything"
Art, looks at him and says
"I won't lie, their getting on my nerves"
The bartender looks at Art and asks
"You think kick'em out?"
Art asks
"What do i get?"
The bartender replies with
"I'll cook you a free meal"
Art finishes his food and gets up, he walks over to the hunters and asks
"Could you three lower your voices please?"
They look at him and one of them gets up and he's walks to Art looks up at him and says
"Listen kid, go back and sit quietly"
Art doesn't move or respond, he simply look's down on him.
The bartender's wife asks what is he's doing.
He looks at her and say
"Watch the show, honey"
The hunter punchs Art in the face with his right hand.
Everyone in the bar are shocked by this.
Art, tilts his head back and doesn't say anything.
The hunter tries to throw another punch, only for Art to grab it and hit him in his stomach with his knee, knocking the hunter out.
The other to get up and run at Art, he dodge's the first one and uppercuts the second, knocking him out.
The last one is about to turn to Art, only to see a punch flying towards him, crushing his face and knocking him out.
Art proceeds to grab the three of them and toss them outside.
He then walks back to the bartender and sits down waiting for his meal.
The bartender serves it to him and thanks him for getting rid of the hunters, he then asks
"So, where are you from?"
Art answers back and says he's from the Haliger continent.
The bartender surprised asks him how he even got here.
Art replies with
"Let's just say i was kidnapped by bandits, but if you don't mind me asking, what's the name of this continent"
The bartender replies
"This is the Sylvorra continent, it's all the way in the northeastern side"
Art then asks about the other continents.
The bartender answers with
"Well, you got [Haliger] in the middle [Sylvorra]
In the northeastern side, then you got [Emberpeak] in the southeastern side, then [Ashenreach] from the southwestern side, then you got [Aridonia] in the northwestern side, after that in the far west is [Terramora] a banana shaped continent, if you keep heading north it will eventually take you to the light continent [Gleamora] and finally the sky continent, although for that one I forgot it's name"
Art thanks him for the food and the information then leaves the bar as he's walking through the streets heading to the forest, the fairy that was tied in the bar freed it self.
The stopped in front of Art and introduced himself
"Hello there kind rescuer, i am [Lutin] the legendary guiding fairy, thanks for saving me back there"
Art tells him to move out of the way and says
"Fairys have disappeared for hundreds of years, what makes me believe you're a real one?"
Lutin replies with
"Well..you're not wrong, but i can prove that i am a real one"
Art looks at him and says
"Yeah, and what's that?"
Lutin says
"Okay then, follow me to the front of the forest and i'll show you something"
Art, agrees and follows him.
They get outside and Art says
"Okay, go ahead and show me, and if this turns out to be a lie i'll skewer you"
Lutin then bring out a ring and calls something
"Eira!!"
Suddenly, mist appears and from it a horse like creature emerges, horns twisted similar to that of a goat.
Lutin then says
"This is Eira, my steed and i'll give her to you,
but only if i become your guiding fairy"
Art hesitates and asks
"Why suddenly all of this and why do you want to be my guiding fairy?"
Lutin looks down to the ground and answers
"You know, no one has really talked to me that much before and you saved me, but i need a partner my duty is to guide, but I've been lost for so long and i thought you're someone i could help, even if its only a little"
Art, reaches his hand out to Lutin and says
"I read that fairys become partners by shaking hands"
Lutin, smiles and shakes Art's hand and Lutin has become Art's guiding fairy.
Lutin gives Art the ring, Art puts it on and gets on Eira.
Lutin sits on Eira's head and asks Art
"You got any destinations?"
Art answers with a no.
Lutin the says
"Well, there's a town not too far from here, let's go there and check it out"
Art, agrees and they ride off into the forest.
