We see sir Artorais after he told Sigurd and the other soldiers to go to their wives. He then turns to the other soldiers and tells them to get in their positions. Not long we see them at war with demons, fighting for their kingdom. Sir Artorais is tearing through the demons, not a single one of them managing to touch him. He then stops a little to see one of the demon soldiers. A strange aura emitting from the demon. Artorais approaches the demon and asks him.
"What is this strange aura?, demon"
The demon replies while in pain.
"It's…..him….their king. The terror will….consume all"
The demon passes away in front of Artorais.
As the war comes to an end and the soldiers celebrate their victory against the demons.
Artorais notices the aura start to surround him.
He ends up suppressing the strange aura. He then decides to grab a horse and ride away from the kingdom without telling anyone.
"(This is bad. It got to me. I can't stay in the kingdom, they might get infected with it)"
We see a woman enter the king varen's throne room while saying.
"King varen! Have you seen Art?"
The king says.
"No, but now that you mention it. I haven't seen him at all"
He asks the other gaurds and they all reply with a no. He then says to the woman.
"Don't worry. Miss Rosalind, we'll find your fiancé"
Rosa stands there worried for a few seconds and then leaves the room.
We see Artorais on his horse going through large grass fields and dense forests. A few weeks go by. They eventually reach the Sylvorra continent. Artorais stops at Akura's home, that's in the Sylvanethia forest. He yells
For him, but no response. He checks the windows and he still couldn't find him. He decides to head to the witch in the forest for information about the terror. He gets to her home and yells for her. She comes out and says.
"What is it now?"
She looks at Artorais and says.
"Ugh, you. What do you wa—"
She stops and says.
"I….sense evil from you"
Artorais says.
"It's something called terror. Do you know anything about it?"
She yells at him to stay away and then explains what it is. He then asks where he could find the source of terror and she tells him it's in Everrao city. He thanks her and heads to the city. He gets there and decides to walk his way through the forest, he sets his horse free, in case he returns late. He then walks through the forest eventually reaching the [Everrao Gaurdian]. He walks up to it ready to fight it. It looks at Artorais and ignores him. He says to himself.
"(Could it be because i'm infected?)"
He walks through the gate and the Gaurdian is still ignoring him. He keeps walking through the city. Killing any monsters that show up in his way. He keeps walking and eventually reaches a cave. He walks in and uses fire magic to light up his surroundings. He reaches the end of the cave. A large void. As he looks down, he kicks a rock and it takes a few seconds to reach the bottom. Dark tentacles emerge and grab him. As they're dragging him down he slices through them with his sword. He then reaches the ground and looks around him. He sees a monster emerging from the darkness. It's Agaris. A battle starts between them. Artorais runs at Agaris and slashes through the tentacles. He dodges his attacks and strikes Agaris's hands. Then they both keep striking each other. Eventually Artorais strikes Agaris in the chest. Agaris collapse's and starts disintegrating. As Artorais lets his gaurd down and turns around trying to figure a way out. A large hand smacks Artorais on his left side, causing him to fly through the arena. He is then grabbed by the tentacles and is launched through the cave's ceiling. As he soars in the air. The tentacles hit him so hard, causing him to be launched at high speed into a colosseum and crashes into the wall. He gets back, his body shaking from the impact. He looks at his left side and sees it destroyed. His arm completely shattered. He looks around him and sees the monsters surrounding him. He takes a deep breath and grabs his sword. As he battles the hordes of monsters, he thinks to himself.
"(I can't let these monsters leave! I'll keep fighting)"
As he keeps slicing through them, hoping he could stop the terror from spreading.
We see Art and Lutin camping on a hill. Lutin falls asleep and Art decides to rest on the hill outside the camp. As he lays down in the grass, staring at the star filled night sky. The wind blowing through the grass. He then starts remembering his life when he was younger. He holds Lumi's scale necklace in front of his face. He gets up and goes back to the camp. He rests near the fire and starts wood carving.
Morning arrives and they go back to their journey to Emberpeak.
