Seren stood at the rooftop, with the only thing that gave him comfort at the moment, his violin. He picked up the art a year after Dante left.
He placed his chin on the chin rest and positioned the violin for bowing. Then he began releasing the notes of the strings into the air.
"I'm guessing this is the violin piece you wanted to hear from me. I'll begin coz it's time to slay the dark" Kirigan said as he readied the extase
"Oh please, I know this sound very well. It's one of Seren's masterpiece and my favorite of all" Hibana said as she gave a creepy smile.
"Why is it your favorite?"
"For reason unknown to me, anytime I hear this sound, I feel stronger!!"
Hibana advanced as plant roots emerged from her.
"I'm the flower demon, Princess Hibana"
"You finally introduced yourself as a princess of the dark, I'm most honored "
Kirigan held a firm grip and lighting coursed through the sword. He slashed it at her but she defended withe her roots.
"You'll need more than that to defeat me"
Grace ran along the hallways, going to every room, waking the children in. She remembered her father's words.
"Listen Tanya, even if you don't want to be a tarveren, surely there would be circumstances that would demand you to use your powers, you can't run away from it no matter how you try"
"I guess the old man was right after all, it's time to use them!!"
"Listen children, all of you run to the hall and wait for me there!!"
As she ran to their rooms, this was her constant line of words, ordering them to assemble at the hall.
"But why?"
"Don't ask me questions Ketil, just do as I have instructed!!"
The children had already assembled.
"Form a circle around me and recite Valda's creed!!"
Valda light illuminates all,
Bannered across the sky in awe,
Slaying the dark, shining through the night
Until it's crimson skyy
The children continued reciting as Grace was making incantations. A staff appeared in front of her as she stamped it on the ground.
HEAVEN'S DIVINE GRACE
Immediately, a barrier was constructed around them.
"Listen children, never you step out of this barrier no mlatter the circumstances!!"
"But Seren's not here" Alen spoke up after searching everywhere and couldn't find him.
"What is his problem!!, this is not the time to be feeling down because your heart got shattered!!"
"But we can't leave him!!"
"And sister, what's this. Don't tell me you're a witch??"
Of course questions were arising. The children had seen something out of the ordinary.
"Boom"
Kirigan was flown backwards.
"Isn't he our guest from yesterday. What's he doing here?"
"Get back!!" Kirigan barked.
"Are you done, Kirigan Maldagoran?" Hibana walked from the direction Kirigan came from.
"Not done yet!!"
Kirigan stood up, clenching Extase. He raised it up and lightning covered his whole body.
"I call this the LUNAR SLASH"
He brought the extase down, causing a loud explosion.
Boom!!"
"Hey Kirigan, did you get her?" Grace asked.
"Don't know"
"I'll admit, you're strong, but I'm stronger!!" She released more roots to Kirigan.
Kirigan was slicing and dicing the roots but they were too much for him.
"Aah!!" Kirigan screamed as he was thrown backwards.
"Something's definitely happening, I need to check" Seren said as he rushed downstairs. On his way going he met a scene.
The dining and chandelier had been destroyed.
"What's going on?"
"Seren hurry into the barrier, quick!" Grace ordered.
"Sister, wh-what's happening"
"Oh, it's you Seren. I want to say a big thank you. Your music was my strength" Hibana said as she stretched a root to tangle Seren.
"Not on my watch!!"
Kirigan immediately dissected the root.
"W-what i-is happening, is that Sister Hibana??" Seren asked, trembling on his knees.
"Yep, that's princess Hibana, a demon"
"Okay, you're becoming an eyesore. Look at you, all battered and covered in blood. Why don't you just RIP"
"Thanks for the complement princess Hibana but I don't intend to die yet"
He plugged extase to the ground and released lightning to it.
"Sorry it's gonna shock you"
The lightning went straight to her, electrocuting her legs.
"Aah!!" She let out a horrible scream.
"Now you've done it!!, I'll kill you!!"
Immediately, a large flower bloomed from where she was standing.
"Extase, shield!!"
The sword transformed into a shield.
The pollen grains on the flower released a blast.
"Boom!!"
The extase had protected them but it was in a bad shape.
"Oh, you managed to block it, but I wonder about the next"
She turned to face Grace and the children.
"But first I'll be taking my sacrifice back"
She used a plant root and dug underground, using it to break where Grace and the children were standing.
"Oh no, the barrier has been disrupted".
"You're mine now Mirana!!"
Hibana sends a root to capture Mirana but Grace blocked her with her staff.
"Aww Grace, you like meddling with other people's affairs, and that could get you killed" She sent spikes to Grace, pinning her to the wall.
"Sister!!!" The children shouted.
"Aah, I love your screams of despair and agony, I need more of it" Hibana let out a horrible laughter.
"I'll kill you!!" Alen screamed at the top of his voice as he unsheath a gun hidden inside his pant pockets.
"H-hey, how'd you get a gun?" Ketil asked.
"Of course I needed it to protect myself and you guys, didnt expect it to be this early"
Alen began firing bullets towards Hibana's direction.
"Hey are you crazy or you're rearing stupidity??" Kirigan shouted at Alen.
"Sorry mister, I was just trying to save your pathetic ass" Alen retorted as he continued shooting.
"It seems you deserve correction Alen" Hibana spoke up as she sent spikes towards Alen.
DIVINE GRACE
Grace had protected Alen.
"Don't do anything stupid, you hear me?"
"For the very first time, you acted like the cool sister you should have been, not the grumpy one" Alen said.
"Yeah he's right" Ketil added
"Oh shut up, I've been the cool one from the onset"
".Guys focus, she has Mirana already" Seren spoke up.
"Let's kick this tree's ass" Grace said as she took her staff, ready for combat.
Alen continued firing at Hibana while Kirigan and Grace engaged her.
"What do we do, should we call the cops?"
"We can't, this is sorcery and witchcraft at play here" Ketil advised.
"Not doing anything makes me sick!!" Seren shouted as he dashed forward to secure Mirana.
"Hey wait!!"
Hibana had noticed Seren and sent roots to impale him.
"Freeze"
Suddenly the roots froze, and the next thing, the room started getting cold and chilly.
"Um, is it me or am i freezing"
"Nobody lays a finger on my brother"
Everyone turns to see who made the statement. Twas Mirana, and her hair was white as snow.
"What the hell is happening?"
"Don't tell me--" Grace paused with a stare of bewilderment.
"You're the CRYSTAL GLORY"
