"I am disappointed in you, Adrian Blake," the voice on the phone echoed sharply, cutting through the quiet of the early morning study.
"Really?" Adrian's voice was calm, measured. "What is this about Mr Blake?"
"Not only have you not been able to get married to Seraphina Hart for the last three years, you lost the shipment worth billions, and now I heard you lost Luca Romano, the only way to the shipment," Elias's voice was rigid, laced with anger and disbelief, reverberating through the line.
"News seems to travel faster to you than anywhere else, grandfather," Adrian replied, his tone unbothered, clipped, as if brushing off the weight of the accusations.
"Is that all you have to say for yourself Adrian Patrick Blake?" Elias's voice sharpened. He only add Patrick to Adrian's name when he want to spike him.
Adrian already know what Elias was trying to do but he didn't give him the chance to get to him.
