"Letting you see her isn't a problem… but what will I get in return?" Adrian's voice was smooth, teasing, as if everything in the world were a game he already knew the outcome to. The corners of his mouth curved into a smirk that made Raya's chest tighten.
"What do you want?" Raya asked, her voice low, almost swallowed by the weight of her fear and pleading. Her hands trembled slightly, though she tried to keep them still, to seem composed.
Adrian leaned back casually, his gaze sharp, assessing, then his smile deepen almost predatory. "What can you give me?"
Raya faltered. What could she possibly offer a billionaire? What could she give him that mattered to him, she barely knew herself.
